One of the best pieces of singing advice i ever received was this: "Even if youre doing a cover, fully embrace your own voice, the only vocalist you should try to sound like is you." Obviously this doesnt mean dont use the same technique as others but you are the best at your own voice so use it. I just wanted to say all this because you sound fucking amazing but i almost feel like you were trying to force a certain sound in your vocals. But i might be wrong.
