Hello Everyone! I welcome you along to see inside these special sister journals that are filled with pretty papers and completely inspired by beautiful fabrics and being surrounded by pretty flowers while on a walk….In The Garden.
The three sisters are RubyRose, EllaRose, and Rosie. They each have their own personality even though they share many of the same fabrics, trims, and papers.
These journals will all be available on Saturday April 30th at 3pm CST in my Etsy shop.

Heather, these are so beautiful. I love the sister theme, and of course, their lovely names. 💕. As hard as I tried, I could not pick a favorite. I loved so many of the paper elements you used, scattered among those journals. Loved all the embossing, paper clips, laces, fabrics, ephemera, and those middle page roses were just perfect. Hi there, I just stumbled upon this video and just had to watch through the whole thing… The sisters are lovely… I was curious how you rough up the edges the way you do… Very uneven, (which are gorgeous) and some with bent corners so that they appear to have been sitting in drawers for decades… I was just wondering how you do that… Looking forward to watching more videos… Thank you so much… Chelle 🍂🍄🍁

Thank you very much! If you check out the video on September 20th for the tag holder, you’ll see a bit more of how I distress paper. I mainly tear the edges with a ruler, use my fingernails to bend and crinkle, use distress ink, sandpaper sometimes, etc. I hope that helps!

Beautiful journals! So feminine. Wondering about your rose colored paper? Is it beet dyed or avocado dyed? How did you get those darker spots on there? Just organic (dripping from a beet???) or did you spray the paper with something? Anyway, lovely journals as ALL your work is!

Thank You! The pink papers are avocado dyed. The darker spots are just more drips I add after the paper has been dipped in the dye and dried. I always like to make a variety of different ones. 💗💗💗
