Malika you are cool ,beautiful as well as intelligent …I hope to meet you when I come in June, if not, cheering you on ❤️❤️❤️❤️😁😁😁😁 This was a GREAT interview and thank you for facilitating it, you asked the difficult questions that I had on my mind, but rather kept to myself. Your interview IS informative, Cartess did a phenomenal job….I smiled through it all😁😁😁😁 it was refreshing to hear from Cartess….oh, you are hilarious. When Cartess stated, that he has an “😢 Abundance mindset” ..that’s my lane, vibration and study. I was screaming…YES…Cartess embodies THAT as well as you… ok next video🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣looking forward to it…❤️

Wonderful interview with Cartess! I’m an introvert, too, so I understand both of you. 😊 I’m sorry to see you go. I met Cartess, I was hoping to meet you when it got cooler (can’t get me out in this heat). Good luck wherever you land. ❤ My next statement is regarding food. I have been here for over 8 months and want to try the local food but I can’t get over the fact that the food vendors do not wear gloves and they have their hands and fingernails digging in all these juicy meats for these tacos and tortas…and no washing sinks in sight. Somebody…anybody…please tell me how to get over this so that I can try the local foods.

Thanks for watching! Unfortunately many countries don’t do the same as the USA in terms of food prep. It was just as bad or worse in Asia. Funny thing is I will eat the food while traveling when they don’t use gloves or have proper areas to wash things nor proper refrigeration, but I won’t do that in the USA 😆 . I bet I have worms 😂. I will say that many foreign countries are not for people who have squeamish thoughts about food. I’ve eaten food that has had flies all over it before it was cooked. It definitely is a hurdle to get over. Best wishes

I am loved his answers and the discussions about expansions. I really look forward to working with Cartess for my relocation needs as I’m looking at Merida as my next move from NYC and he seems to have a handle of relocation services that suits my individual needs. All the best to you both in your individual and family life journeys. Malikah I really enjoy your content and your candor, practicalness and willingness to share the knowledge you’ve acquired through your own experiences in various countries. All the best as you have decided to return to the U.S. (though temporarily) before launching your next adventure in another country. Thank you both

Fabulous interview Malika. Cartess was the very first person I connected with before our first trip to Merida. He just landed there and was walking the streets and sharing his findings on different parts of Merida. I had never watched a KZbin before Cartess. Didn’t even really know much about it. Upon researching Merida I stumbled upon his arrival and I felt a kinship to him. I do realize that is my perspective and probably not Cartess 😂 perspective. Here are my very unsolicited thoughts: 1. Kim has good instincts on who she likes or might not care for. Just my intuition. 2. Cartess & his family have helped many people either directly or indirectly. I feel many people are appreciative. However, I also feel there are many (not all)that are riding his coattails or trying too. I personally am turned off by that. 3. I feel his transparency or share all is a Catch 22. It makes Cartess extremely relatable. We all have struggles, heartache, disappointments, personal & financial relationship issues in some way or another. Most people prefer to portray a perfect image most of the time. His vulnerability makes us ‘connect’. Respectfully his family is involved and has feelings too. In my opinion that is a hard balancing act. It is one they do well together. With that being said, it is their business and their business alone to navigate through that together. It isn’t for us to judge. Not our place. It is obvious there is much love and intellect in the Ross Family. My husband and I have endured the worst pain ever existed. We unexpectedly lost our son. Our world was no longer what we knew and it has been a challenge that is constantly there. Together we hold each other up. I lost my Mother seven months later. Also an unexpected death. We have sold our house and will be moving to Merida within the next month. We have our Residency, made some friends during our visits that we keep in touch with. Hoping to meet Cartess and Kim one day when we are there. 🤞 True friendships are golden and with that comes a bond and respect. With all said and done I wish you many more wonderful adventures and blessings Malika. And the same goes to the Ross Family. Thanks again, and be well.
