Will Harris has achieved great things at White Oak Pastures Farm he is probably the most knowledgeable man in the US about the sacrifice and effort it takes to end the factory monoculture ranching and farming and rebuild our food system. As a non-farmer I appreciate that Will and others share the reality of what it takes to put food on the plate because I do want to know where my food comes from and how it was raised.

So happy that Joe Rogan invited him to his podcast, It was such an eye opener. Will Harris has a wealth of knowledge on the topic and is beyond highly educated. Has command over subject matter and language that none in this industry have. He has made us all a little better by talking about the complex nature of the farming, life stock, agriculture the economics and all aspects of the subject. God Bless 🤲🙏

The fox interview clearly didn’t allow mr. Harris to shine with his farming knowledge. We need this knowledge to re-imagine our future farming.

Wow. I just today discovered White Oak and Will Harris - and I'm pretty sure I'll already consider them some modern American heroes. Somebody please tell me that there is some operation(s) like them out here on the west coast, or will I just need to start ordering food from them on the regular?? And great job on these In the Dirt videos, to whoever is making them. Kudos to you! I've been watching them all in order, in one sitting right now. (anybody wanna credit the videographer(s)??) I'm so surprised (well, maybe no surprise, considering the unconsciousness of so many people), that there's not way more Likes on these videos.

There are lots of farms practicing good methods of raising animals and caring for the soil. Searching for “regenerative farming” in your area is probably a good start. WOP is unique in the scale that they operate. Most operations you will find are much smaller, but no less conscious and capable to raise food the way Will and his farm do. Good luck and I hope you find a local farmer you can build a relationship with and help them continue the movement for sustainable farming practices!

@@anthonycopper327 Thanks Anthony! Yeah, I'm on the lookout, but even the "progressive" and seemingly healthy and conscious grocers, butchers and meat stores (are those butchers?) in my northern CA/NV area lack any knowledge of any such ranchers/farmes raising animals humanely. (And I ask around a LOT). I found one guy with a small chicken farm, but that's it.

My new brother in law farms corn... and he cannot wrap his head around the damage being done by the industry. He feels attacked and gets defensive any time i bring up conversation about converting even a fraction of the 4000k acres they farm. Ill keep planting seeds but im curious how others have opened families eyes or minds to regenerative ag.

I love this system of farming, but can someone link me to some farming techniques of his beyond the headline videos he has already made, over and over? I’d love to learn much more than this same overview over and over. Is he somehow afraid of his technique being stolen? I doubt it because it’s already out there. I’m interested in how he applies it. If that isn’t possible so be it, but if he thinks this is a mystery, he is only hurting his own brand by these repeated vague videos. I fully respect what he has done and is doing. But I don’t get the tongue in cheek act at this point.
