I was just in Vegas for my birthday and I decided to treat myself so I called up Beau and scheduled a class. I was shooting from “stick left”. I was instructed to aim to the right of the table before the curve. One bounce off the table hitting the back wall on the diamonds. Use minimal force. If done right the dice should land near where they first hit the table. While practicing I has 42 straight throws before I get a seven. Hope this helps.

The odds of you (or anyone) throwing the dice 42 times with no 7 are over a million to one. Good ROLL!!!!!! (The odds of throwing the dice 42 with no 7-out are somewhat better. I just put that in because one of the papers reporting Ms. DeMauro's World Record Craps roll stated that she 'threw the dice 153 times without a 7' which is about as close to impossible as you'll get on this Earth.

I try his technique every time I go to a casino. Sometimes it works; sometimes it doesn't, it all depends on what position of the table is best for you. I tried it on the ends and sevened out. However, I tried it stick right and hit 7 points in a row! I am sticking with stick right or left from now on.

Imho dice control in a setup like a craps game is simply not achievable to any meaningful degree. The throw has to cover the length of the table (usually around 14 feet) and bounce off of the opposite wall, which is shaped like “alligator skin” (with many edges). Under such circumstances it just is not possible to control anything. The authority required to cover the distance and the fact that the alligator skin is pretty much guaranteed to throw your dice of whatever axis it may have at the time of touching it …. NOBODY can expect the kind of control, necessary to overcome these circumstances to any quantifiable degree (let alone one, that would make a difference), to be achievable. There are simply far too many variables, that you cannot eliminate. Just picture what an ideal throw with 100% control/certain outcome would look like. It would be the two dices sliding all the way over the table, showing the desired result and touching the back wall only so gently, that it makes no difference. That indisputably would be the most secure and foolproof way to perform a 100% predictable result, since there would be no variables at all (no rolling and no bouncing). Does that look ANYTHING like what an actual dice roll on a craps table looks like? Not at all! Go figure …

+MightyJabroni if you control the dice you can predict that a low momentum dice will only roll off in a few specific ways. skill varies the consistency. the more consistent your throw becomes, even if you don't necessarily throw it to hit the exact number you set up, the more predictable it is and the entire house odds are based on a 36 sided dice with perfectly even chances to hit based on how many ways you can roll it compared to every possible roll. in other words being able to control it much at all gives you nearly even or better odds, being able to control it well gives you good odds long term and occasional long rolls in the short term. most people won't be able to do it just like most people can't shoot a basketball from 30 feet into a 10 foot goal much less do it 35+% of the time but SOME people surely can.

+MightyJabroni Many craps tables are 12 feet long, which permits plenty of players for the casino. Very seldom do you even see all tables being utilized because people can't tear themselves away from slot machines. If you throw from either side of the stickman, you're looking at 7-8 feet. I'm not really sure why a shooter would choose to throw from 14 feet?

holding the dice is about control, if you can consistantly hit the same spot, throw the same force and hold the dice the same way, it will help with consistancy. rather than random shooting. he says he doesn't believe you can control the dice in the video so those saying it's a bunch of bs, don't get the point of controling the dice. sooner or later the 7 will come up but if your consistant it can help avoid it. if your betting stupid it won't matter any way. best bets 6,8 and pass line.

I agree with Womack: it works if you put the effort in and practice. Lucstrato, you said you took the class ... but did you practice? I took one of his classes in January 2011. Since then, as of the date of this comment, I've been in live casinos on 8 different dates for a total of 24 distinct sessions in addition to home practice. I've had a total of 4 losing sessions, 3 basically breaking even (ended within $10 of buy-in) and 17 winners for a total growth in my playing bank of 40 units.

I love craps! I play all the time in Atlantic City and Philadelphia. If you don't hit the spiky back wall when you throw the dice, heads are going to roll. Hell comes down on you, like you just slapped the bullshit out of some 96 year old grandmother. Setting dice and hoping for the best is one thing but when you throw those dice, you better be damm sure you hit that back wall. This guy did not do that. A lot of so called sharp shooters leave out that part of the game! You can't control the dice or predict the outcome, when you are throwing a few grams of Thermoset plastic against a spiked wall. Think about it people! That why they call it GAMBLING. Casinos let's you do all the tricks you want but they know at the the end of the day, if you don't walk while your ahead, your going down hard!

Have fun! But realize this--there IS no strategy that can cause u to beat this game. Understand this up front and u r way ahead. There is no wondrous strategy waiting to b discovered. Th only thing to be done is only bet th very lowest house edge bets--the pass/come or dontpass/dontcome with odds. Using this "strategy" you are giving the house about 1/10th of what you would b giving them using th typical place bet/press when win strategy. You cant win at this game--don't take 15 yrs to prove it.

If it's not working when you are laying odds on everything you will get destroyed in short order. it is very difficult to recover all of it in the course of a night. if it starts to happen right when you start off, that generally becomes the primary goal for the next several hours to get even. Spoken like a dice coach when you said "you don't believe anyone can control the throw of the dice." So, are you saying that it also could be based on Pure Luck? However, I'm sure you've heard of the man they call the Dominator? I rest my case! Sure, he may be the exception to the rule. But, he defunct your belief. He can control the dice. I didn't say it, but people and the Dominator also says it. In any case learning to try to control the dice throw is better than the random rollers who shake the dice in their hands and let it go. I see too many times how often the 7 appears with that technique. So, I say if you learn how to throw it and, perhaps, control the way you throw it then you become an advantage player, isn't that right? And, isn't that what all players want to accomplish?
