Yes, you can see the influence in their playing. Plus, having Donnie Vandoren on staff on few years back and Matt Harloff really bringing the brass up to a very clean level. He has something special going on there.

Couldn't agree more. There is obvious signs of Star all through the corps. Vandoren taught Harloff and Harloff is passing on that great SOI brass legacy through Crown. I really miss Star but I'm starting to jump on the Crown bus. Besides Bluecoats they're the corps I get REALLY excited about.

I can't imagine any other horn lines taking the Ott trophy from them. It's already impressively clean with the highest levels of difficulty, even more so than last year.
