As more and more airlines are painting their planes to look like something that would dangle over a baby's crib or be played with in a bathtub, I'm glad Air India has stuck to a classic, traditional livery. I've loved it since the days of the 707 and shudder to think of what some of the haters would like to see in its place.

The A380 wouldn't make sense for air India because of the fact it's too big for most airlines. Air India did consider buying the double decker but declined this due to the fact that they don't want to be lumbered down with an expensive quad-jet as they don't have the capacity to order one. This is why the original three on order for skyjet airways of Japan went to ANA instead plus the order was bad news for that airline because shortly after ordering the A380 they went belly up. It's a shame that ANA only had 3on order because they could have been the first in Japan to have all six of skyjet airways original order. However at least the other two went on to be ordered by Emirates before they discontinued their original order for 162 jets. As even Emirates the world's largest operator of the 380 has started to retire some of these airplanes.

I’m a Boeing man but I am forced to admit a320 is a superior aircraft in every way over the 737 max I’ve flown both and the comfort is so much better on the neo even in the cheap seats. Plus those new P&W geared turbofans take it to another level of efficiency.

Well Actually these NEO's don't officially belong to Air India They have been Dry Leased by a Firm which I think is based in Dubai Finally the CLASSIC A320's can be officially removed from service and scrapped against these NEO's Hope they don't have much engine troubles like the PW once which INDIGO and GO AIR are using - Both of these initial customers are actually facing a lot of problems with the NEO's PW engines. Hope AIR INDIA's NEO's once delivered don't face these problems much!!!!! Thanks Airbus for rushing the manufacturing for Air India NEO'S Those Classic 320's really need to be taken of service immediately
