Kilgrave is essentially Tighten from Megamind if he had mind control powers. Both are possessive of the women they lust after, jealous of anyone who receives love and affection from her, and have a sense of entitlement that leads them to believe that they deserve these women. Furthermore, both are shown to be prideful, refusing to acknowledge the hurt they cause others and blaming their misfortunes on anyone other than themselves.

There are rumors that Marvel Studios wants to make a new Jessica Jones show on Disney+ similar to Daredevil: Born Again and while I would like to see Jessica as part of the MCU I do wonder who they would make the villain of the show since Kilgrave really is Jessica's only personal enemy so they either have to say that after he died he "got better" which would undermine Jess' victory in this show, say that this show didn't happen so we are repeating season 1 or continue to have him be a flashback like in seasons 2 and 3 while Jess fights someone else. Jessica Jones can work as a character regardless but Kilgrave needs to be there for her to be the protagonist as everything in her life is a direct or indirect result of him

I can hardly think of another villain I have ever loved to hate so much. Usually, there's two types of bad guys: The ones you admire despite their evilness, and the ones you like to see lose because they are just disgusting. Killgrave combined the disgustingness of character with the fascination due to his portrayal by Tennant. It's a horrible mixture of wanting to see more of him and see him getting defeated at the same time.

Kilgrave thought too small as far as being a villain goes. He could have literally commanded The Avengers, HYDRA, SHIELD, and The Hand all at once. Instead he was obsessed with one woman, Jessica Jones. That said, he's probably one of the scariest villains in the MCU. He could literally force you to walk on glass barefoot one hundred times and you can do nothing to stop yourself until you complete his assignment or you're dead.

That's the scariest thing about him. He has the ability to do whatever he wants with his powers, but he uses them for petty reasons, especially if the bruising of his ego is involved. It makes you wonder that if he got pushed far enough, what evil deeds would he commit?

In the animated series Earth's Mightiest Heroes Kilgrave took control of Iron Man and forced him to build Iron Man sentries to take over the world and then made him fight the other Avengers.

It's not a matter of intelligence. Kilgrave is actually very intelligent. Kilgrave so selfish and oblivious to other people's pain that he didn't think Jessica was attempting suicide when cutting her ear.

What you observed about DT is what makes him so irresistible and universally loved. His characters are understood and embodied from the inside out. He doesn't shy away from his characters faults, neither does he judge them for their faults. In one of many interviews of his, he said that he feels that no one is fully good or all evil and that he searches for the humanity of his characters. He also said, and this might be key, that he believes that everyone, including those most human beings see as pure evil, do not see themselves as evil. As himself, DT seems like the most open, fair, and balanced human with a healthy ego and sense of self that I have ever met or know about personally or through the media. He is also inhibition free and is game for anything. He is truly a magnificent person and actor.

Nothing, his power was a virus and I doubt that’d work on a Titan. Mantis could barely hold Thanos in a trance and she can sleep people or make them do whatever she wants by just touching them. I doubt Kilgrave is getting very far with Thanos.

He simped for a woman that got him dead. skibidi could've join the avengers, sheild, hydra, xmen, what other marvel group out there to save the world if he just moved on and find the F-word (Family) so he not emotionally deprived. Seriously, this dude needs to feel loved. All villains do, but he could have become an anti-hero if Jessica could've saw the opportunity to change him cause skibidi was drawn to her and was starting to be emotionally vulnerable. But oh well, maybe in another universe...
