Yes Tamiyah as my mother always told me as a youth " Life is like camera......Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives, And if things don't work out, Take another shot.... #teamtamiyah

I understand how Tamiyah feels, but I also feel like there are now a lot of people in the scene who want to leave and give up on the foundation of the black gay community. The ballroom scene is what has made most of you. From your house "mothers", "fathers", etc... Like the whole scene is a family... And instead of trying to leave it all behind, just BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE. Stay positive. Never be shady to others. Smile. Don't be a sore loser... I would hate to see the scene fade away. It's what brings most together.

Can you guys make a updated version of Paris is burning. This is the only movie/documentary all ball room life. I am bisexual female but im truly interested in this art and the culture. I love it! but there isn't much educational or insight into the houses or anything!

I get what Tamiyah was saying about Davina. Davina brings antics, and dramatics to mind when you hear her name. Tamiyah has been sexy, cute for years but Davina just came into her transition recently and even though she's pretty....I think the name Davina made for herself is one that makes you think of stunts before anything else. Just my opinion, love them both.

I can relate to tamiyah so much but she kinda contradicted herself. FQs need to respect bqs just as much as they need to respect each other.we are all equal in the ballroom scene

The category was sexy performance Tamiyah said she's not sexy as in her performance that night wasn't sexy, not "Davina is a brick and I don't see it for her" lol. Let's not get carried away here.

Can anyone answer why lesbians never show up in this, or are never included? I don't understand the LGBT community, but I believe that lesbians are a bit too reserved, if not stand-offish.

Not for nothing why don't the House parents promote the kids getting a Jobs Education and Career, for the house kids the ballroom scene was ment to be an outlet for people in the life that had no were to go were the can be them selves and not feel rejected now its glamourized and underground still call it the come up season now a days ( got they own channels and stuff bitches in G5 and it aian't crafted coins good nowa days shout Kelly whos in the charge of the girls), but its for the people the parents (House Mother and Fathers) of these houses to step up as real mentors to step up and be real enough parental roles like Debbie Allen in Fame to say you want this life you gotta for it let them know wat it really is, baby this is entertainment what we do is emulate life while triing to fit in to life and be accepted but what I want to do is help you find your place in life and learn acceptance of yourself as well as others so you dont have the scars that some of us carry and you can be light and help somebody else avoid the traps that life and dealing with society can bring food for thought.... By the way Tamiyah look good in person shout to the girl on the number train.
