Ashe is too much of a wholesome character I can’t bring myself to kill him ever. He crits (more than Dimitri for me, Yes I really did tally every crit) constantly, has an amazing personality, and there is no way I could ever hate him! And he’s in the DLC so that made me ever happier

I feel like Ignatz and Ashe would actually be great friends. But I will admit that both of them have a good build, as my Ignatz from Verdant Wind was amazingly useful. Try to give him good dexterity, a battalion that boosts crit, hopefully an archer, and then you can build him up so well. I did the rapier+, wa dao+, killer bow+, longbow+, some ring (I forget which one), and then something else. What's better: putting him in the thief/assassin/MS route is amazing. Mortal savant is usually bad, but building him up before putting him is eye raising, especially since his 3 spells have very good crit. Alas, no support between the 2 :(

I've been blessed that Ashe has been not only my best boi (fave 3H character) but also my guaranteed crit KIIINNNG esp as a Wyvern Lord every single time, even overkill when I don't need crits lmaooo he comes in clutch. Love him for that (and much more ofc)

yeah, I wish RNG was a little more benevolent without me loading a scum save... but a few handy tips for you; 1. train your chosen physical damage dealers in axes and brawling, brigand is the best intermediate classes for them, highest strength probability bonus and overall more bonuses. "brawling is important later on. trust me." 2. when in class, focus on flying and magic training, your goal in magic is a D so they can rank it up themselves in a battle. For flying, a C for males and a D for females is all you need. 3. when you hit professor level B and unlock monthly Advanced classes, Grappler is the Brigand of the next level "and for the rest in stat growths" and will help mitigate bad RNG. 4. okay, magic time; Pick mage for raw magic stat boosting, and for the better of the two abilities and if your Dex is low, switch it up with either the Archer or the Thief to make them more competent on their feet. dark mages and bishops mastery mark is best suited to the mages that aren't glass cannons. "or your battle mage students like Lorenz or Sylvain." the Lil' Edgie's first steps class's mastery works like Pokémon's poison and can easily be skipped, while the later heals you when you with half the points used to kill an enemy. in other words a free Nosferatu. stat wise, it trades small speed gains for small dex gains. also dip into bishop for a survival mastery ability. I'm pretty much turning Balthus into Cicil Harvey. "probably a waste considering healing focus does a lot of tanking without the magical flair, but I love magical barbarians, and I'm having fun with it, and hey. battle buddies without a B in brawling get a front-line healer."

@@planetsheena9288 I absolutely love Ashe. Since Blue Lions was my first route, I've recruited him in every other route because I don't want to kill him. He's always one of my best units. I'm currently doing Silver Snow (Church route), and I'm just training him to max out every single skill. With this being NG+ for the third time, he's maxed out his bow, axe, lance and flying skills, currently working on sword. As of the end of Ch. 7, he's a really good assassin at level 23

I used Ashe 90% of the time during my 1st playthrough - the Blue Lions route. He became the MVP in almost every battle. I leveled him up to 55. He saved me in the most dangerous situations. Nevertheless, he's also an automatic thief with a horse. ☺️

Only if you have a b support with them or you recruited them . the only students you can spare are lorenz ,lysithea and ashe and if in crimson flower you can spare flayn ,seteth and claude . But if you want to spare seteth and flayn byleth has to kill them

Cant ignatz, cyril, felix, leonie, bernadetta and claude do the same thing but like, much better. Cyril and leonie already get a headstart becase of point blank volley, their dexterity is not as good as the 'canon' archers but they still pull off massive damage with pbv alone. Ignatz has one of the best personals in the game, combine it with hit+20 and he just becomes ashe but better. Ignatz and leone also have break shot, making them better utility units overall. Bernadetta has her amazing personal and vengeane utility as well. Claude is claude, and he gets two very good exclusive combat arts and a very good unique class. And pretty much all these characters have better stregnth potential than ashe. High crit builds arent that hard to make with the anount of resources they give you as well. Batallions, rings, killer weapons, batallion wrath, wrath on general, defiant crit, and the list goes on. Also, dodge tanks are much more useful and much more worth your time because they can actually EP without dying in one hit
