In the Oregon town of Grand Ronde, there’s a little library that time forgot

Every Monday for a decade - every Monday but one - 80-year-old Amelie Redman has opened the doors of the historic little Grand Ronde Library for the curious to discover and share. The library, housed in the town's historic bank building, has been around since 1958, when Redman was a little girl.

Great story! I bet the library would have more patrons if the Head Librarian would write reviews in the local weekly newspaper of some of the books in the collection. Then everyone would want to read them. It might be nice to see if some patrons might be interested in a reading circle. Perhaps a few people could each check out a different book by the same author and have discussion groups to discuss the books. I love libraries! Grand Ones and little ones heated by a wood-burning stove. They both have great stories to share!

Some people think i live in a library when they come to my house ,Because my walls have book cases instead of pictures .at last count i have over a 1,000 books and have read them all more than once .
