Two of the finest, nicest, musically-educated, verbally articulate, up-and-coming players of our times. I've been so fortunate to meet them both at guitar camps. I stumbled on both of them years ago online, before they were so famous, and recognized something special in both of them. We're so lucky that their hard work, and favorable circumstances, have enabled them to become so well-known, and allowed us all to enjoy their gift to the world.

As brazilian I'm happy to have such great musicians in my country, as Mateus, off course. But I'm happy too with the opportunity, through social medias, to know great musicians all over the planet, as Matteo, off course, and so many others. And happy to had found this fantastic Rick Beato chanel, which give us precious moments, like that. Thank guys - Rick, Mateus and Matteo.

Another amazing interview! As always Rick doesn’t even have to ask any questions and musicians just pour it out for us! The musicianship is so understood and respected by all his guests and for each other! These 2 guys are total talents taking music to new heights we haven’t heard yet! I love how these guys love and respect all the players that came before them and they don’t take there position today for granted! Total class! Thank you Rick for another outstanding interview! ❤

I saw the title, on my phone, went to the dining room and watched it on the big screen without breathing.(actually I had to). Thank you for the amazing "double Matthew" pack. Top of the tops.

Rick is the best. I find it unreal he can set interviews like this up. It feels like he is creating archival video we can come back to years from now

Rick thank you for what you are doing for the global guitar community. You are the very best at what you do and I appreciate you presenting the masters and the new generation of upcoming masters as well. Your channel will go down in history as a resource for guitar players forever.

I truly love how these two amazing musicians are so humble and quick to name these who directly influenced their music and approach. They are so far beyond technique and execution. Music and soul for all the right reasons. Rick, this direction you are exploring with your channels is brilliant and incredibly insightful.

I couldn't believe it when I happened across this video. Two ultra virtuosos in one room discussing the finer points of guitar playing. You've had some great interviews but this one gave me the most joy...

What absolute humble guitar geniuses. To give so much credit to their predecessors like EVh is what makes them so amazing and a pleasure to listen to and for guitar players like myself to try and I mean "try" to learn a few licks from them. I've been around forever and to be alive to witness amazing players like these two youngsters is to be lucky in life.

I've watched a lot in my time, as a working guitarist, I've seen a lot. However, watching you three sit there an experience Eruption into You really got me, was genuinely one of the most relatable and beautiful moments of internet I've ever experience. Thank you so much Rick, Matteo & Mateus. So fkn amazing.

Great fun to see the reaction to Eddie's playing! But when it comes to the world's most expressive right hand technique, I wish they would have mentioned Jeff Beck, the master.
