That wonderfull P5 , the best they ever built ! Althoug my 2000 Rover 75 is not up to that standard of the P5 , it is a reliable and rustfree car with great looks and interrior . Proud to own a Rover ! Love from Holland ❤️

The P5 Rover was less complicated than Jaguars of the time but despite that it was just as well made and just as comfortable. Solid engineering!

My grandfather was a Rover fan. He thought it was a gentleman’s motor. Bentleys were too expensive and a bit ostentatious and the jaguars were plain flash Harry. So he went for the Rover and had a succession of them. They suited his style and he could get in and out of them with his homberg hat on. His last Rover was the cyclops model.

Bought a couple of P4,s, in the mid70,s, (cost £60 each!) Never left me stranded. Drove acoss Holland and Germany in 1975 ,21mpg! , in UFG266 , no problems.😄😄
