Love this production. Was moved to tears in several segments of this episode. Wallace Coffey's singing was absolutely beautiful. All of it was so very moving. Can't wait for the next episodes. Great work, Gary Reddin, David Stringer, Lawton Constitution and the entire team and contributors!

Love you brothers and sisters. As said many times…it’s hard to understand how humans can be so cruel to one another. The Comanche, Kiowa and all American Indians were given a bad hand by our govt. Yes, we have made strides toward making things right but still have a long way to go. But we can never repay taking someone’s family and culture away from them. Please remember that many of us remain with you in spirit. Although we are not family by blood, we are by love. God bless you, your people and wonderful historical culture.

@@wdcurry111 and people are not ruthless today ? It's a fight for us everyday. Go visit a reservation, and see what it's like. I left when I was 14 to get an education. The government still rules over us.

@6:15min just a one part critique. I'm very impressed with Mr. Coffey's knowledge of the Comanche people but anyway. The Medicine Lodge Treaty was signed in 1867, a simple mistake because he just superimposed the year 1867 with 1876.

The Indians do not get enough recognition in history. Every man in those tribes is a soldier. You had to grow up being a warrior. Other tribes trying to kill you to take your land, wealth, women and kids. On top of that you got the Americans comeing from the east. What tf happen to us men. These were real man. We have become soft.

Such injustices done by Europeans around the world to all Native peoples your stories sound just like the Australian Aborigines albeit they weren't offered a treaty but were slain for speaking their languages etc of course they were more stone age than your people at the time Thank you for tei g us your stories and Bless you all xxx

It's ashamed what the native Americans where put through. The same happened in Tennessee where I was born. I've seen the trail of tears. The history of the land Is rich. But it is also dark and built on the blood of the indigenous people.

Both the comanche and apache were known for their sadism and cruelty to other tribes and settlers. This noble gentle savage myth just more rewriting history. They took slaves long before europeans got to the continent.

I must comment again honestly the man sitting down on the chair with a gray shirt looks extremely European to me it’s chilling how they can remove one mask and put another one on but this mask is invisible it is really really frightening all in the name of land and ownership that’s it that is it for one man is willing to give up his culture his people all in the name of the land I know native people and some of these people look 85% European or more I believe it is the movie I watched Braveheart with Mel Gibson when the English conquered the Scottish and said we will breed them out meaning they will spread their seed amongst the women this is most uncomfortable and frightening

And all honesty if I may I’m not sure what to think and I’ll do respect it appears that the native American would like to unite with the black American but as soon as the government threatens to withhold federal funding the tribes appear to get lighter and lighter like white these people are speaking very much look like the European I feel free to state my opinion because recently I took a DNA test and much to my shock and dismay they tell me I am 40% European 59% black and only 1% indigenous apparently we’ve all had to adjust to be conquered but their cruelty persists it is never ending how can I be proud of 40% if the 40% does not even acknowledge nor wish me a long life. I acknowledge the people who are speaking but I also see the European man and he says except me as your leader or I will withhold federal funding Take my seed and become lighter so I may expand in the physical and then the spiritual
