I used to work as a alt rock dj in phoenix, and one day, a young funeral director called the request line...just happened to work at the once family-owned funeral home that had taken care of 3 generations of my Mom's side of family. (now owned by SCI Houston....yikes!!!).....I guess you could say I took quite an interest in the business of death and sometimes wonder if I should get a part time job in some capacity. Think I might be ok at it. But then again, me and big, faceless corporations don't get on too well, big firms like Clearchannel and Iheart SAVAGED radio. Very few live dj jobs left. And you probly know what SCI did to the funeral industry in this country. Now I live in Florida. Look up Menorah Gardens Palm Beach.

I do not need a high profile or lavish funeral when I die. I will prefer a direct funeral, to be cremated on the actual day of death and have my ashes scattered into the sea.
