why....? most well off Chinese kids go to international schools in China. they all have an American/British accent when they speak english (depending on if it's an American Intl or British Intl). if you go to any top 20 school in the US, you'll meet TONS of Chinese international kid speak FLUENT english with an American accent even though they never spent any time in the US. im guessing she's well off.

Manta is my fave as well. Even though, as a project overall, Hide & seek is a stronger song and her best production in my opinion. I think it's plain to see and hear that she's been working hard on her sound as it comes across unique and distinict, the kind of style you say that's Lexie. Also I really like her stance on music production overall, I think you got to be selfish when it comes to your music. If it doesn't sound as you want it to, then it's not right and you should'nt go for it.
