There one thing they're overlooking and haven't talked about. Lebron says he wants to play off the ball more. He wants to try a different style to beat the warriors. That changes how the pieces fit around him. Maybe they don't believe he'll actually play that way.

Great show! I believe that the Lakers are good for 50 wins. The King knows how to close those close games. Which is why I believe Magic missed an opportunity with Cousins who would have helped in the playoffs. Kuzma, Hart and the rookie center should have good seasons. Ingram will have to figure it out. Bottom line Lonzo needs to make shots. If Lonzo is making shots he should be ok. If not he will probably get benched or even traded. Coach will have his hands full. Drama is expected. Coach is going to have to decide if he is going to coach or let the King take the lead. On offense what system do they run? Laker basketball or the infamous Bron system where the King dominates the ball. And what about defense? It's no secret, The King does not play a lot of defense. Magic may need to be hands on and support the Coach from the father's comments should he lash out. In the playoffs the King may prefer Rondo. The team may still receive an additional piece even after the All Star Break. Maybe a shooter or a 6' 8" Athletic Wing. Just an opinion.

I could tell majority of the media doesn’t watch the lakers play. Last season the lakers had 35 wins and their best player (BI) and their most important player (Zo) both missed 20+ games. If they were more healthy they wouldn’t have made the playoffs but they would’ve been somewhere close like 40-43 wins so to say they’re barely gonna make playoffs this year when all the young pieces are only getting better and they got lbj simply just doesn’t make sense. This will be a 50+ win team this upcoming season

The argument about 8 finals in a row is so weak. So what? Every season, when you haven't won, you lost, no matter when. Jordan won 6 out of 12.5 (i do not really count 94-95 and certainly do not count wizards years also, but you can if you will). Lebron won 3 out of 15. Cmon bruh.

Like I said, you can count all you want. And it's still gonna be worse for Lebron. Mike came of retirement second time not because of basketball reasons, we all know that, and he was 38 and 39 yo. Similarly I will not count Lebron's last years either, if he wasn't playing for titles at his late 30s.

Great perspective Ric and Chris. Looking at agility and skill set, Jordan is a class apart. Most people live in the moment and all they see is LeBron
@ballerbaby59676 жыл бұрын
blind MJ bandwagon, you're the one stuck in the past. respond to my comment after you watch this. LeBron is EASILY the cloest thing we have to MJ in the league today. FAR better than Kobes 'Agility' and same level of skill. So, is Durbitch *cough Durant showing THIS type of Agility and Ssill set? kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJe0nGSFmZqei9k if this video doesn't change you, shows LBJ is in a completely different class than his generation, and far BEYOND MJ overall, then at least say he's "a class apart" from anyone but "LeBron". 😂😂 Gotta love the MJ stans never not being in denial of 1 player only, LeBron James 😂😂, Live every day footage vs MJs highlights of a 22 year old from 30 years ago, and LBJ still has more agility and skill.
@denismwaka74896 жыл бұрын
what do you mean by "closest thing to MJ"? if you're talking about the best player in the league, then yes but not the same style of play. The issue with most people is they try to see who's closest to MJ in every generation right from Kobe. Respect each and everyone's unique style of play because since Kobe, nothing is as close to MJ's style of play than his. LeBron is up there with other greats; Kareem, Magic, Wilt, Kobe, Bill and better than most but he's not Michael. Agility and skill? you gotta be kidding :)
@ballerbaby59676 жыл бұрын
Magic and Wilt? L.. none of them moved and did the type of things LeBron or MJ does athletically on a given night. its a whole different level, man you MJ stans always try to put him in some air alone, LBJ and MJ ability for ability are neck and neck, Skip Bayless agrees he just hates on LeBron for the clutch flaws years ago, even SAS agrees. MJ just has a mystique to him based on being an original, and going 6 for 6 in the golden era. Truthfully MJ came up in a much easier era of athletes as opposed to LBJ
@denismwaka74896 жыл бұрын
I'm not surprised that you seem to see what you want to see in what i have pointed so far and i don't blame you for that. i wrote "BETTER THAN MOST BUT HE'S NOT MICHAEL". Hate all you want but if you get a list of the 10 best NBA players of all time, all the those i listed will feature. Magic is the best point guard of all time and Wilt is the most dominant player ever ahead of Shaq (get your facts and cross-check). But you either don't know that or you choose to leave that out because you're obsessed with LBJ. You need to watch full games of Michael, not just some random highlights. There are highlights of Kobe and the commentary says He's the best ever, but do we believe that? Nope! You can get hung on LeBron all you want, but MJ is the greatest!
@denismwaka74896 жыл бұрын
LeBron's size and height have definitely given him an edge in his career and most impressively what he is able to do with that body, not forgetting his speed. I did not say Magic or Wilt are better, i said he is up there with them. Magic like i said is the best PG ever up to this point same with Wilt in dominance I mentioned them on the premise of the best players ever, not THE BEST ever, because that in my opinion is MJ. If you go by the most recent 10 years to date, LeBron has been the better player in the league for a time longer than any other more than Kobe and Tim Duncan. See this; 1. MJ 2. Lebron 3. Kareem 4. Magic 5. Wilt

Tyreke rejected the MLE offer by the Warriors for the pay and the role he'd have on the team. Pretty sure Bradley would do the same. PS. LeBron adds about 15 wins, I agree with Mac. But not having Lopez brings that number to about 10-12. And Javale and Lance at most keep things as they are if they don't bring the total wins amount dow. All in all I think they will fight for a playoff spot and will end with about 44,45 wins. Still a major improvement, but I for sure can't see 3rd seed in this team. PPS. Ingram shoots better off the dribble than spotting up. Even Kuzma is better off 1 or 2 bounces than spotting up. The only spot up shooter is KCP and I think he's overrated, they could have gotten Avery Bradley for 1.5M more and brought (they still can, I'm not sure what's the hold up) back Lopez. If Magic wanted to build a team and not hunt for superstars, he'd have a much better chance at winning in the short term. Lonzo Bradley LeBron Kuzma Lopez is a better defensive (inside and outside), offensive (post, jump shots, cutting would be about the same), playmaking team. PPPS Jesus..: Paul George's contract is the perfect situation for him. He can sign an extension to that contract being in practice a 7 year max deal.

At 30:07 Ric Bucher said Kerr wants to have Cousins come off the bench and to anchor their second unit. It's true that Kerr might have Cousins play with the second unit, but that doesn't mean he won't start. Kerr has already said that Cousins will start once he's healthy. Klay plays with the second unit. He starts and then comes out at about the 6 minute mark, then goes in to start the 2nd quarter - with the 2nd unit. It's possible that Cousins will do that same thing. So, Cousins and Klay would start the 2nd and 4th quarters, when Steph and KD would be on the bench. Draymond has also done the same thing at times. So, DeMarcus would take both Javale (at the end of last season) and David West's slots in the rotation.

The Goat! Remember Kobe when he was at his prime. How close he was With MJ. Do you think Lebron was that close with MJ as Kobe. Take a minute and think about it.
@waviehall6 жыл бұрын
He seems a decent pundit ric but i dont really understand why he feels that you should only take one angle into the GOAT conversation. Ofcourse if your template is based on jordan winning 6 rings from 6 finals then Lebron cant be 2nd but the greatest conversation has to take everything into account. There is no template, its entire body of work. good and bad, 6 final wins is high up there but bounced out when he faced teams in their prime should be in the other collumn fairly high too. lebrons record in finals is definitely a knock but with an asterisk because i dont think too many would argue that jordan would have beaten the warriors. i would bet he would be 4-0 with the cavs team against the warriors. Jordan however would have beaten the mavs team when lebron crumbled, a definitely knock on lebron. Theres too many variables to have a template to fit into. Imo Lebron is the greatest player ever but not the goat. If he was drafted by a better team then he may have become the goat but i suspect that boat has sailed now. His career has mostly been on poor cavs teams that as far as i can remember have never been favoured to win any finals theyve been in for good reason.
@Nazgruka346 жыл бұрын
