I am a real fan but I’m also a realistic person. I love ITM, but recently their shows haven’t been great. Look at her performance of Black Wedding. It was just as bad as this. If you know anything about vocals, you understand that these aren’t good vocals. What I suspect is she’s been pushing herself too much. She needs to give herself a break. I’m a true fan and love them, but this wasn’t good.

I love this band so much! Maria is literally a goddess to me, her aesthetics both visually and musically are amazing. But, I can understand being a performer that hits the notes she does and the strain she puts on her voice can really wear her vocals thin. Instead of keep on performing she would takes breaks in between so this doesn’t happen.

Awesome both times I've seen her live. Finally was able to go an actual live event since covid, and between them and Black Veiled Brides, one of the best I have ever been to! So, thank in this moment & black veiled brudes. My son and enjoyed every moment!

I have never posted on a KZbin video before but these comments are making me want to have a meltdown! I prefer live performances over the recorded versions! I’ve seen many metal shows & live isn’t all unicorns & rainbows! When I saw this performance I feel exactly what she was feeling when she wrote this song! It’s gritty & u hear breathing...,she’s human and an amazing performer! If u have seen her live and heard that note she belts out I’m sure u got goosebumps too! We are so critical of performers and I admit when I was in my early 20s I did the same thing, now that I’m older I am more forgiving in regards to many things & live shows are one! When I travel somewhere and the weather is different sometimes I get a sinus affection sometimes I get a sore throat, when I’m tired I have issues when I don’t feel good or when I’ve got stress going on! Be a little forgiving people! And the next time that any of you that are doubting in this moment go to one of their concerts I hope she she fucks your face with her amazingness!!!!

I noticed that too. I don't want to be too critical as I imagine its extremely hard to catch one's breath when, not only jumping around a stage, but also singing multiple songs in a row. Also, I walk around listening to and singing Roots all day, and even I can't catch up with each word in the chorus. She's got overlapping lyric recordings on the album, which makes it difficult to do live, without those background recordings. Maybe she should consider it though for the tour. She's gonna wear herself out. .... And it sounds awful without. Also, the instrumental should be louder. It is on the album, and live, it could help drown out her suffering vocals.

Ironically people devalued the band based on this performance. When before this album they kicked ass live and have never been terrible. The problem is the backing audio was louder than her and she was also going with audio trying to match it and be as loud as the chorus. Also if you listen to the breathing and the pitch of this song as a whole you’ll see not many people can get that style down. Also people get nervous. I mean they’re at an awards show 😂😂. I love ITM regardless and guarantee they will destroy these songs live in the future. She has great talent in my opinion.
