It looks like that would make a great thermal under layer for cold winter days. I knit things for my husband for riding his bicycle in winter. I think I will knit him a dickie from this pattern. He will wear it under his jacket. Maybe for me a hip warmer. This pattern will collect a lot of warm air to keep the body warm under another garment, especially when knit using a lofty yarn.
