This man picked out literally everything I was getting wrong and why my swing has fallen apart. Best detail/mechanics teacher on KZbin in my opinion

I have watched hundreds probably thousands of golf videos. Your method of teaching is brilliant!!! You not only teach the proper methods but most important, you have the understanding and the ability to articulate in details the mistakes golfers are already making. It's easy for a golfer to watch someone show how to strike the ball. When you show us the mistakes we are already making and how to correct those mistakes, that is huge!!! Thank You!!! Thad Luzzi

Hi Jonathan. Watched this first part of four yesterday and tried it out on the course today with excellent results. Shot a 91/40 points! Only hit one awful shot, a 7 iron off the tee at a par 3 and hit about 3” behind the ball!!! I think I was pushing my left hip too far forward. I will be watching parts 2,3 & 4 over the weekend. Excellent, thank you

Jonathan I find many armatures aim their feet to their target and you need to do a lesson on the fact they they need to aim their feet to the left of the target otherwise they are already going to hit it right and then they develop and over the top swing to get it o go left.
@bklounge_golf2 жыл бұрын
Great video. I struggle with this a lot. Especially when I have to aim to a right pin that’s way right or any target for that matter that is further right. I play a draw, so it’s hard sometimes for me to calculate the start and where it will finish. I much prefer middle pins, but who doesn’t!

Precisely what I am working on in my winter practice. I pull might right shoulder slightly closed before I start my backswing & this has really helped me to turn & come from the inside.
@jamessexton85892 жыл бұрын
Great video - helps clarify many faults I think I have that are probably a result of poor setup mechanics. One thing that would help would be to see the club face/shaft lean at address (point 3 of this video) from your POV!

Hey, I have a good set up but i still struggle with the sequence, swing up OK but the bottom half doesn't move first and I still feel a bit all arms in the swing. Especially in the back 9 when I tire. The big one is with the driver tho, getting this wrong on the back 9 can be disastrous. Do I need to practice more at a slower pace to get the sequencing right first then work back up gradually to my normal speed. I swing 7iron about 87-89mph Thanks

Everything off the ground will have shaft lean to some degree. Only club that doesn’t need much shaft lean is driver because you are not trying to hit so much down on it

I am a senior golfer. I like your teachings, one of the best. However, may I say that you spent too much time telling people don't do this and don't do that ......... Can you just tell us, 1. do this. 2. do this. 3. do this...... we will do whatever you said, because you are a great golfer, and teacher, If I can do whatever you said to do, I believe I will improve tremendously. Thanks for your attentions. david, a senior golfer wishing to break 100...

Great instructions but I would find it more helpful if you just talked about the correct way to do it and much less about how the wrong way looks. The the wrong way is not what I want to learn and retain
@JKMGolf Жыл бұрын
the only issue is that most people dont understand what they are doing wrong to begin with and based on what they are doing wrong, I explain the correct FEEL they will need to have to get them in the right position. Thank you for your feedback and I will keep this in mind

I am starting with golf, but his explanations are ones of the best. His deep understanding of the matter and mistakes (done by beginners) are excellent and very helpful for improvements. Personally, I believe that better understanding of basics and subsequent practices could make a change. Sorry for not agreeing with your point of view, but some of us want him to continue in this way and not to fell down to average instructions.
