So I just went to the range after watching your 4 part series of in to out. I've never been able to correct this no matter how much I focus on flattening/shallowing my club, bowing the lead arm wrist, pausing at the top, etc etc. Your video, particularly the setup and the parts of feeling your butt and back facing the target longer while shifting your weight toward the target, and feeling my lead arm across my chest longer, has naturally kept my hands deep and promoted an inside to out path. Unreal. The consistency of striking was great, irons were a more penetrating flight, and I was straighter and longer. Unbelievable. Thank you so very much for this series!

Hi Jonathan, I have watched hundreds of golf U Tube and have not subscribed to any until now. Your modern efficient swing is what I have been looking for. Individual golf tips don't work therefore I am extremely grateful of your Series because they provide complete movement sequences in details from start to finish. In addressing swing issues, which you hit the many I have, you always start with analyzing logically cause and effect of a bad move before providing remedies or the correct way. I also like the way you provide instructions: always right to the point, precise and not once I found myself confused. In past 2 weeks I have worked in adopting your swing model. It fixes so many of my problems and eliminate many uncertainties I have. I use full body mirror to check and ensure each move matches precisely +/- to each of your instruction. All I can say is stick with what you say and it will work. Thanks a million for all the hard work you have put in to help me enjoy this game even more.

i just came across your channel last night and i binged watch all your videos. I cant remember which video it was but you gave a quick demonstration on how there were 3 parts to the golf swing. Very specifically what i am most interested in was you demonstrated how the arms come down with the rotation and release of the wrist in the down swing. Can you please make a detailed video on this? I looked for a release video on your page, but you haven't made one yet. I think this would be very beneficial to your viewers to provide drills and your feels of when the arms begin to rotate with the wrist releasing or bowing in the downswing, i feel like this when done correctly provides consistency and a huge amount of speed. You have a very good swing and your ability to teach is very effective. I hope the channel continues to grow and keep providing more content.

Fantastic video Jonathan, your instruction is crystal clear. I can get my club to come from inside out but feeling stuck on the downswing, getting a lot of hooks or pushes though I can see my path is in to out on video. Would you be able to make a video on what feel starts the downswing? Is it trail leg pushing off, is it whole body moving or core movement, etc. That would be fantastic. Keep the great content coming 👍

Hey man great video. So with the right elbow on the downswing. It's suppose to be under the left arm. You were talking about externally rotating the right arm and kinda tuck in the right elbow. I try to do this but when I video myself I don't look like the pros haha. I have a couple slow motion swings on my channel. I would appreciate if you could look at them. I think I'm just kinda keeping my elbow position still and then rotating my shoulders. But I don't know how to achieve the right elbow under left arm lol. Thanks and great video

For me , an externally rotation of trail shoulder in downswing also combines a lateral shift with a side bend in early downswing without having to think about a lateral shift and side bend for an in to out swing into the ball

Thanks, Jonathan. This is great content! Do you have any tips for people with fast hip/torso rotation that can’t drop their hands into a low delivery position and drag the club head outside their hands too early as a result? This issue has plagued me for ages as when I try to keep the lead arm close to my chest but my hips and chest open to target too early, my path gets out-to-in. However, when I try to drop the hands faster, often I end up pulling them and steepening the shaft which is no good either.

Awesome series Jon, But can you please give some advice on squaring the club face. I've managed to move my swing path to be from the inside, but i can't train my brain to shut the face. IT's only about 4' to 6' open, but combined with the in to out path means I'm no longer slicing, but pushing. I've tried strengthening the grip, but my brain overrides this and presents more and more handle depending on the severity of the grip. Thoughts?
