Excellent, I'm delighted I came upon this . Irish music of every type punches miles above its weight. Small Island, music engrossed population. We done little Ireland, the whole Island. 'Good gifts come in small packages'.The RTE National Orchestra are excellent, the presentation is superb . Really enjoyed it ...I will seek more of Ina Boyle. Regards to all. I am uplifted in thses dark times.

Heard this on Lyric FM just a few minutes ago and thought to myself, 'that's a lovely Vaughn Williams piece'. Was shocked to hear it was by Ina Boyle, who I had never heard of.. despite living not far from her. Absolutely beautiful piece.

Ina Boyle was a student of RVW...partly via the postal system and partly commuting sporadically from Enniskerry County Wicklow to London for lessons...she wrote several excellent pieces....Symphony no2 is one to look out for.👍

I heard this for the first time on ABC radio. It is truely a beautiful piece by a little known Irish composer.
