Ina Ho Comparison - Alternate Inks *Higher Resolution*

I have a Kobe catalogue and I just stare at the colors. I’m going to have to circle that one

Yes, I am that muddy greenish yellow girl for sure. This was a great comparison. I have the Olive swirl and some other inks I might try to mix. thanks again for sharing

I think I have a small painting palette with the small half circles to put ink in - I want to use that to show different combinations

I know this is not a purist approach, but I had Monteverde Brown Sugar in a pen I did not clean and loaded chiku-rin on it and the result was similar to ino-ho. You can do that … I heard that’s how blue / black was born: ink contamination!

I find that Van Dieman's Neptune's Necklace is very close to Ina-ho. Atlas Stationers is selling VD inks now. This was a fun comparison, it would be interesting to see how the Colorverse ink performs in a pen😊🖋📗

Perhaps when I go my next order through Atlas I’ll add a sample of that! One of my favorite inks is a VD (Tiger Snake)

This is wonderful. I love comparison videos. I heard BPC stormwater runoff was a close dupe but I don't have that to compare.

I have heard that too! But, same! I am itching to buy more BPC but can’t rationalize more full size bottles right now!!

@@thejoyinpensandpaper890 yeah... I have to put myself on a no spend. The only thing I am allowing is a purchase at the Chicago Pen Show in a couple weeks...then back on a no spend. It's sooooo hard!!!! 😂

Wonderful comparison video. I’ve been wanting to do this too but I don’t have ina-ho. I tried everything in my power to track it down and I ended up giving up 😂 Maybe one day I’ll get lucky and get my hands on a sample. I’ve heard Teranishi chemical Industry Emotional Olive may be a dupe but don’t have they ina-ho to compare them.
