@@emunene_enthusiast_real You should listen to the English version by Will Stetson (which by the way has really sick vocals), that'll surely answer your question. Or read the translation. But basically it's someone who's lost their path and is itinerating morosely along the train network in a hapless and solitary mental haze.
everyone is saying this song is about depression, but in my opinion, it seems to be more about social anxiety/isolation due to missing your opportunity to interact with people due to anxiety or other negative feelings. lyrics like "unfortunately the train has left," "holding onto lost words in my pocket," the repetition of the words "alone" and "crowded," and "rejecting the evening and boring invitations" makes me think this song's focus is more on people and social interactions
@zeusolympus16643 жыл бұрын
it could be that....but she is mainly focusing on how you remain stuck in a loop when you are depressed. Everyday seems repetitive, its more than boredom which seems to render you useless. In the lyrics a continuos paradox is going on the only difference it makes is when you have to accept the truth. Depressed people cant seem to accept this truth, but in the end of the song, inubakimori have finally understood the truth and she set on a journey on an endless train.

@@zeusolympus1664 yeah i'm not 100% sure nor do i know what inabakumori's intentions were... i think everyone's original interpretations are valid and hold truth i just wasn't seeing much variety. the speaker does seem depressed as a result of societal expectations which is a common theme in japanese media
@lordofdestruck3 жыл бұрын
the lyrics are hard to translate but phrases where dangerous things say "wait for me" is a well known way to imply suicide, cause you dont wait on a traffic crossing and you dont need a train ticket if you dont enter the train... its a way to communicate that you dont realy care anymore and a typical signal from people with suicidal toughs. and might it be social anxiety or psdt or what ever to cause the feeling, in the end people get mental unstable and depressed.
Yeah lagging in the train is just a terrible experience, just when you thought you're about to get out to your stop, you then lag and go back to your seat and the door closes.

A classic. If the final refrain/verse isn't popping out just pitch-shift it up a bit and bam: banger. Classic music trope that is always used cause it (almost) always works. Sometimes it ruines the melody tho so it's not an end-all-be-all solution.

(this took a very long time on my phone) Translation: It seems the train connecting the far apart cities has already departed If I don't know the words I lost, I'll grasp them tight from within my pockets I wheeze out a pained breath as I sleep and fake my way through this ever-lengthening day If I don't know the words I lost I'll take a ride on the local train I reject the evening, along with the invitations to boredom. I'm all alone I mustn't rush down the back alley Look, the traffic crossing is also saying “wait for me” The street corner on patrol restrains you It seems the train connecting the far apart cities has already departed If I don't know the words I lost I'll grasp them tight from within my pockets I wheeze out a pained dream as I sleep and fake my way through this ever-swaying day If I don't know the words I lost, I'll take a ride on the local train The evening train station is terribly crowded I wanted it to take a break until I can have it all to myself Again, a group returning from school pushes you along Look, the ticket machine is saying “wait for me” My occupied hands are holding you back I wheeze out a pained dream I sleep and fake my way through this ever-swaying day I don't know the words I lost I'll take a ride on the local train The train that connects the far apart cities Calls forth a wind, please don’t be blown away by it The words I lost, it’s fine if you just let them be Because I want you to entrust your everything to this swaying train car The far apart cities- It seems the train to the city of faraway farewells has already departed I don't know the words I lost I'll grasp them tight from within my pockets I wheeze out a pained breath as I sleep and fake my way through this ever-lengthening day I don't know the words I lost I'll set off on a journey, taking a ride on the local train
