@@aLlawleit it doesn’t work because unlike nekros’ shadows, they don’t heal. They die and spawn new ones when their timer is up. So you have to constantly reapply theorem across the 5 cats and it’s super annoying to upkeep, unless you intend to use kitgun as your main dps as well.

Issue is you need 2 green shards which means 3x lower crit damage modifier and it takes 7s to hit the 14 statuses to strip. It's nice RP but just building her properly for damage will kill anything in less than 7. Take a look at the mission footage and how few red bars there are on those Grineer, even with the speed aura up...

The triple Augment looks so cursed, but oh boy is it unique and the wiggly line cats that CC, damage and strip a room looks so good! I wonder who else would benefit from this. Maybe Atlas? Melee Crescendo Ceramic Dagger as a stat stick, and cats for armor strip? Does Dagath/Kullervo linking spread the curse as well? Ulfruns Decent Voruna over her 3 (I usually cant keep it up during her 4 somehow)? Looks like I have to test a lot of stuff tomorrow in addition to Helldivers Warbond. Exciting!

Okay, Catlas is kind of funny in simulacrum! Having 12x permanently + some CC and armor strip from cats is good! Mod space is very tight though. Dagath does not spread the cat curse, so I assume Kullervo is the same. Lastly, Cat Voruna also feels pretty good! A non-channeling Helminth that she can use during her 4, because the cats just exist. Also, her 2 status spread works nicely with the cats corrosive application!

Unless there is something specific in the code that causes Shocking Speed to proc the spreading, there are a couple other frames that should be able to pull this off. - Heat elemental ward (Everlasting Ward optional but highly recomended) Should work on both Chroma and more importantly Inaros himself. Another important note, the damage radius of the heat aura is locked at 5m; however the "buff shareing" aura is 16m with range scaling. - Wisp's shock motes may also work though not being able to subsume over 4 without gutting your cat number is... rough. That aside, shock motes would technicly prime targets slower then auras, but have the potential for hugely increased range. Not to mention, if you have all your cats buffed, thats 15 targets per pulse. - Gara's Shatter Shield may work but trying to get the buff on a cat is a whole different story...

I made a version of this using Wisp. The synergy between this, motes, and breach surge is crazy if you want dumb levels of ability damage. Managed to hit 38M from abilities only on corrupted heavy goons.

Knew this whole interaction on the subsume but I completely spaced on the speed buffing. I'm glad at least SOME frames can do this now because I noticed this interaction when I was messing around with caliban awhile back. His summons are just like any other spectre, cats included. And his summons kind of fucking wreck if you can summon them on top of a wisp haste mote and buff them with something like roar/nourish. What a crazy time to be playing warframe, inaros useful AND his subsume serves some vague purpose.

I've been running this but I don't use cat shields, use Cap augment with the 4 for perma overshield, as long as you can kill quick enough to get energy drops it's sustainable.

I have a terrible attention span for shieldgate builds and occasionally am messing up and wondering if theres anywhere else I can off-load a bit more survivability onto as a buffer or for the health tank variant. Are there any melee builds with health regen that would still melee influence well? Or any melee fortitude builds that would be decent enough to miss out on melee influence?

You should consider more even ish type of maps for easier marksmanship like the void, or circulus. If u want that. Because the stairs would make it annoying, and tbh the cats don’t go far, but the tech is gud enough for edits. And also you can bring aoe weapons like the Zaar or something since most enemies are armor stripped and primed by viral if you can manage the ammo capacity problems then, I think you’ll be fine.

For those looking for (any) health tanking set-ups, arcane blessing and health conversion are totally slept up HC gives flat base armour, up to 1450 and AB gives another 1200 health on top. With those two alone, it's almost enough for banshee to walk through netracells. (I personally find you need 1 more layer of protection, ie augur mods, brief respite, resonator, etc Throw on equilibrium or a purple shard, have an appropriate companion and you have substantial, warframe agnostic health tanking. Don't quote me but iirc that's more bulk than all 3 umbrals combined give you

My first thought was to combine with the craziness that was MCGamerCZs Swarm build. Then my second thought was, combine that with Khora. 5 Scarab Cats, Venari, And 4 Hounds from Duplex Bond. Can get your stripping from the Scarab Cats and subsume over Venaris ability and still keep her, and get a bunch of priming potential from the Hound. Might even be viable as an AFK build TBH. I gotta subsume an Inaros and try this out now XD ~edit, just though, Scarab Cats + Duplex Hounds + Nekros Shield of Shadows.... Anyone wanna build an army? lol

Yes that can work, there is a bit of freedom there. Also depending on how willing you are to put up with the 4's cast time. Survivability can be done a few ways, even with health tanking if you drop Cata/Message/Reach for Adap/Vitality/Stretch. Energy was never really an issue. Energize was also kind of a flex slot.

My special chroma build Growing power Cunning drift All umbral mods Flow Overextended Continuity Blind rage Guardian armor Arcane energize and molt augmented This build is meant to be played with a team or a roaming pet like a hound, kubrow, or kavat. Its hard to die with this build, but if your solo its easier if youre not paying attention. I took off his first for infested mobility. With this amount of range, his 4 is usefull especially for mobile defenses. Pop it down, wait for it to scream and pick it up again. My archon shards are meant for strength and casting speed but aren't needed. Be careful with aoe weapons, no primed sure footed. Enjoy😊

Radius squared is area. Radius X2 is diameter. The actual range would be determined from diameter with the warframe at the center of the circle. Edit: The radius tells you how far the ability works from where you stand. Rotate that radius around you 360 degrees. All the enemies in that area will be affected. Area as a measurement (π r^2) is completely irrelevant. This is why the in game tool tips give you range in meters instead of meters squared. A frame tells you the range is 10m, because 314m squared is useless information.

The reason people say that "range is squared" is because it is. Range isn't a linear function it's a exponential one It's your range in meters squared as it's a circular aoe. Meaning that every point in range is more effective than the last. That's why a 50% range nerf (see nezha augment) actually led to more of a 75% reduction in AOE. You can see this by graphing 2 circles of different sizes and subtracting the difference.

The reason the game gives the radius is because it's easier to visualize, but that doesn't change that the radius squared literally affects how big the AREA of the ability is. If it's catalytic shields, you're going to run into partial shield gate issues and go down way more often I'm just confused because everything about using capacitance is just worse than shield gating regularly.

@@RapTapTap69 Since were building range anyways, capacitance will give you full shields anyways. Its additional cc. You can use Archon Stretch instead of reach, and dont have to use the other Augur mods either. And catalytic shields is an extreme waste of a mod slot.

@@Argomundo you don't need archon stretch with 300 energy and energize If you replace catalytic with capacitance you're using the same amount of slots for a far worse shield gate Discharge is a full body several second animation while speed has no cast time or animation. There's literally no reason to run capacitance over a regular shield gate. Heck you'll shieldgate with a cast of discharge with the Brief respite build as well so if you desperately want to use discharge as your shield gate you can do it without the augment
