LOTR certainly divides moviegoers. I rate the trilogy very highly. The production quality, depth of the lore, excellent writing, set-pieces and battles, great characters, outstanding performances (in particular Mortensen, McKellen and the extremely overlooked Bernard Hill), terrific soundtarck and the respect which Peter Jackson and co had for Tolkien's masterpiece all came together to form something very, very special. It had the substance to go with the spectacle. I get that the fantasy setting of LOTR might not be the most accessible for many of the mainstream, or the pacing of the films might not be for those who want immediate gratification, but imo the LOTR trilogy (NOT The Hobbit or the godawful Rings of Power) blows todays cinema out of the water. It's like comparing a 5 star Michelin meal with a MacDonalds serving which was clearly cooked the previous evening and then warmed up the following day.

Wow, the figure looks incredible especially the rooted. I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should pay extra for the rooted or just go for the sculpted. Oh, to answer your question: yes, he used the bow during the scene where some orcs were shooting at them when they reached broken stairs after running away from the balrog.

I'd been sleeping on ordering Gandalf and then today after seeing Aragorn I decided this isn't a line I want to miss out on. So I ordered Aragorn from Onesixthkit (thanks for the code) however finding Gandalf in-stock anywhere was the hard part. Eventually had to resort to the Devils Workshop. Now Ive ordered every Inart figure except Batman. Not that I wouldn't want it, but just cant afford every figure.

I'm thinking that InArt will be very strict with the enforcement of the 3 day window since the 3 day window of the Joker had such negative backlash. This is easily an instant PO for any LOTR fan. Sculpt is spot on and the rooting really does take this figure to a whole new level. I'm really happy with what InArt is showing us. With each release it will help silence the negative minority and boost the confidence in those looking for the next level of 1/6 quality.

I’ve gone rooted which has me a little nervous since I don’t have any experience with rooted outside Golden Armor WW but I’d love to see you make Rooted Hair Maintenance a topic on your next show to help squash any of my fears on maintaining it (styling, preventing dust & cleaning, etc.)

Can KZbinr please stop acting like Inart is Hot Toys. It been well established that ht prototypes are not exactly what you get as a final product as far as paint and finish. Inart has always set out in the beginning to be a high end 1/6 company and have now proven with the Inart Joker that your final product will look just as good as the prototype shown.. people in this community have been conditioned to have these reactions due to HT failure to actually deliver in the final product. We need to move away from that with Inart.

It's only reasonable to expect a mild decline from proto to final. This is typically the case for every collectible company. Not always, but most cases.

@@WillFoxification it’s a problem we as the community created. We began to accept that when HT showed off a Prototype that, yes we would get something like it but “softer”. And now we have Inart showing us that no, what you see at the prototype/ final is what you will receive in hand. And I think HT needs to recognize that and step up or we that have been is this community long enough will see HT as no longer being a premium product. I’ll save my money for Inart and look for HT in secondary market for cheaper when FOMO buyer become those eventual sellers

@@closviz I wouldn’t call 5% a decline but more a variance due to these being sculpted and painted by different people. I agree if all paint and rooting were only done by Viper it would 100%.
