You keep switching from no variant to bounty hunter variant then back out till components pops up, then select components quickly before it disappears, then lastly choose a style stock you like. (If you messed up by selecting anything but components, don't select anything and back out then try doing the glitch again until components pops up again)

You can have all grains and still be able to do the glitch, I think people get annoyed with it to easily claiming it's patched because it can take a while for most people and thats why they say if you have a specific grain it wont work. It's just all about timing

@@rake0417 yeah you gotta put both of your fingers on x and o and tap really fast do it over and over till you see the transaktion thing at the bottom right. Find a new server then try again its luck so tap REALLY fast and dont be happy when you see the componant thing click it straight away before it goes away hope this helps and if not ask me again

I got components to come up on the bounty variant but then I disappeared within a second. So you have to be quick to move down select components as well to do it or it will disappear. They forget to mention that

I got components to come up again on the bounty variant. Scrolled on it but would not allow me to select it. It was visible to select for 2 to 3 seconds then disappeared. So I am doing everything correctly and proof it's coming up with the components but after that it won't let me do the rest. So ya it's luck only gonna work for few

Yup you can change any gun with a variant but the only gun that turns green are the LeMat Revolvers everything else is mostly having a variant and glitching wraps over it. If you have Evans Repeater you can glitch the wraps to be white leather wraps.

It's a glitched version of the bounty hunter variant so it merged the black metal to the green. The white bolt action glitch did gold

@Ungrateful Cupcake OMG literally right after my last comment I got it to work lmao. Thank you so much. YES everyone it still works. When I would scroll on to bounty variant I would slide my thumb from X over on to O quickly move down to components hit X fast. And got it after about 20 minutes but I got it as well can put wraps on it as well

I didn't want a neon green bolt action on my main but I also used my main account as proof through time that it still worked and would do live streams. I later gave up on it because it doesn't matter if I show proof or not, ppl are still gonna say it doesn't work if they didn't get it. So I gave up 😮‍💨 RDR2 has made it clear they are done with the game, there will be no more updates, and no more patches... so the glitch is still to this day working, but it's very luck based. And in all honesty not rly. (worth equipping) like it's cool to have and show off, but after time, it would be nice to customize your gun from time to time, but that's just my opinion.

@ungratefulcupcake I understand your point of view, if they don't want to believe it even though you even show them and prove it, it's up to them whether they want to believe it or not, let them believe what they want, there's no point in changing their minds I recently did this in my main account (successfully) and now I think I've made a big mistake, because I see on many sites that everyone who makes this glitch regrets it afterwards and that the color isn't nice in the long run... It was in a season pass but you don't necessarily need it, I mostly showed that you could have all grains and still get the gun because a rumor happened saying if you had a specific grain the glitch wouldn't work, you can still do the glitch with or without the grains you just have to be fast selecting variant and backing out but make sure you have your set components that you want because you won't be able to edit the gun after you do the glitch

It works, it's just time consuming. You can change gun stores after a while to help. I was having the same problem when I was helping someone on ps5, we literally tried for 5-6 hours straight taking turns on it but he ended up getting the gun the next day.

Your doing it correctly 😊 you can also use your thumb and hold A and slide to B quickly and continue the process till it glitches and if it's still taking a while you can also change gun shops to help out the glitch

Your not doing anything wrong it's just a very time consuming glitch, some people get it first try, and others take hours if not days. It's almost luck based if not it is luck based. Keep trying, quickly select X & O (A & B) or slide your thumb from X to O (A to B) very quickly and continue the process

Your doing it right it's just a very time consuming process, everyone has a different outcome it seems tho, some get it first try, others take 10-20 minutes, most seem to take hours sometimes days. It's very luck based it seems. Easiest way to do it is select A and B (X and O) at the same time or slide your thumb from A then B (X to O) rly fast.

This is a very time consuming glitch, it might take a while, you just have to keep trying. When the process transaction pops up go to a new lobby, select X & O (A & B) at the same time or slide your thumb from X to O (A to B) really fast

Hello everyone I just got this glitch now Saturday 11th 2023 it works 🙌🏽 & im gonna explain a few things I’m on Xbox series x so it’s work but please read I’ll explain, I have a tool that allows me to use a PlayStation controller with my Xbox, while I was doing this glitch I was using my Xbox controller & the glitch didn’t work for 2 hours, I decided to plug my PlayStation controller into my Xbox with my tool & the moment I did that I hit the glitch straight away!!, if your on Xbox like myself I believe this glitch it’s very hard to hit because of the controllers timing, the PlayStation controller seems to register with the game a lot quicker, the tool I use is called a wingman xb it allows you to use any controller with any console, after doing the glitch correctly I would say if u have a controller converter for Xbox use a PlayStation controller it hit the glitch instantly for me 💯
