Served 24 months in hydebank y.o.c and it was amazing it's just like a youth club. I received my I.T qualifications Along with maths and English qualifications and an nvq in industrial cleaning the rehabilitation they do with offenders is actually brilliant and helps you to get your life sorted with the chance of gaining a job from the learning and qualifications u receive while in there But once you reach the c5 enhanced landing in cedar house then ya use to get out with a scree once every other week to do a shop in tesco for that landing but credit due to some off the staff they are sound as well and still to this day I talk to 1 or 2 off them when I bump into them in town especially wee brooksy hes a legend

Tragic all round, the real danger comes when he tries to reintegrate into the life that turned him astray in the first place. While he may be willing to change, those around him may not accept that - so it's not just about becoming better and doing more, but also leaving things (and people) behind when he needs to. I hope he is able to move on to a better future, and inspire those around him, rather than drag them down.

I know it is difficult at times but it is really important to have a way to stay calm & not let others get you riled up because there are people who will get you het-up & then enjoy watching you get yourself into trouble. The only reason the kid was found was because of an organised manhunt and when he was found he was beaten so badly he had to be identified by bracelets he was wearing. Ireland is Ireland whether its North or South, the people are one and the same regardless of whether the British border in Ireland is there or not. For me some of the nicest and the most genuine of people come from that occupied part of Ireland so forget the accent, its the person behind the accent that matters
