I think the reason why we do not remember our previous life’s (if we reincarnate ) is that any spiritual change should come from our hart and not our intellect. I also think we are here to learn how to love unconditionally, not just the people you know. This is also what Jesus teaches, love your neighbor like you love yourself.

I think the idea of reincarnation can be more constructive to bettering the world than our current belief. If we are all stuck on this earth for good, to reincarnate as animal or man, then all we have left is to make the world a more compassionate place for all to make everyone's experience as little suffering as possible.

Exactly. Because most people have the " I don't care, I'm not gonna be here to deal with it" mentality. That would change right quik with proof of reincarnation. I don't need scientific proof personally, I just have a " knowing" that it is fact. But most people refuse to believe without a PhD and a lab coat confirming thing's. Some of us, just know.

@@janellemckinley172 yes, we know that. However, there's a large possibility we will at least be here a few more times before staying in the spirit realm or moving up to another dimension or level etc it takes wayyy more then one or two incarnations to truly learn what we come here to learn. Plus there's karma situations to work out etc.. therefore we will be back here and will have to deal with the results of centuries of crap we've done to our beautiful planet.

A few weeks ago I had the most painful headache and I was laying down on the sofa in pain. Suddenly I see the most unusual thing, my friend who lives 4 hours away who I had not talked to for 3 months. She has the strangest curls in her hair with two white clips which she has never actually had in all the time I have known her. The image would not go away so I text her and she texts me back a photo of the very curls I saw and the same clips but in pink. She told me at the very moment I texted her she was curling her daughter's hair. It was not something I had ever known her daughter to do. There must be connections between us that persist beyond physical distance and perhaps time itself. I do not seem to have any control over what happened. I was not even thinking of her.

I remember always waiting for a ' man ' to appear who never showed & I passed from starvation. I was born in post war putney, London, UK, to a very affluent family. Couldn't read as I was 3 in 1966 & TV wasn't an issue, yet I clearly remember happily recalling having many children, I wore long skirts that they used to grab onto, & I was always waiting for a man to appear or arrive, I clearly rememberevery day walking up to a meadow, eagerlylooking for this guy,with many hungry, much loved smallchildren, ( I had no concept of gender) who appeared & I ve always known I passed away. Idk why. But it's my genuine experience.

As in, without darkness, how does one appreciate the light, or without hunger, how does one know it prefers to be full? In order for there to be a full learning experience, there must be protagonists involved. (I'm not saying "it's okay to be evil", but where there is free will, there will always be negative choices made.)

So much time and effort is being spent here in order to somehow read reincarnation into Christianity. Is this more important than delving into the phenomenon of reincarnation itself? Reincarnation, in modern times, is amply proved through hundreds of authentic researced and well documented cases of those who have had vivid memories of previous births. Hinduism, Budhism and Sikhism have never known it any other way. For them Karma and rebirth go hand in hand. Reason, logic and evidence seem to embrace it.

Very important point: karma and free will don’t contradict each other. The west is so overly concerned with free will… it’s a total illusion. And that doesn’t mean that we are fated… it’s just that the idea of free will is the wrong question, the wrong concern. We are in a finite physicality and also all things are connected, energy is never created nor destroyed, amongst so many other unseen things that we have no idea about yet… so why is it so ridiculous to consider reincarnation (esp if energy is never created nor destroyed) if one considers free will as an absolute? The duality of everything is really narrowing our understanding of anything remotely divine, mystical, ‘true’ etc.

My problem with reincarnation is that why do we remember the now now and why is it so vivid compared to others past life's. 2nd I may add a wife or a husband past life and maybe kids and all that love is gone and now I'm here on earth reincarnated to do it all again. I'm very dubious of reincarnation, to me it's not reality or maybe I'm wrong

Most of the cases of incarnation and reincarnations happen within the family, although there are cases of inter racial jumps to another time and space. Every progeny is the result of transfer of genetic information from one generation to another. Incarnation can be explained scientifically. Quantum mechanics explains how life and consciousness is a quantum computing function, that can even explain 'soul', 'intelligent design' etc. Implying there can be life after death. It boils down to 'faith'.
@crabbubbles11612 жыл бұрын
Here's yet another idea(s) about reincarnation I've thought about. What if it is somewhat 'proximity' based meaning when anything dies the spirit/essence/instructions/memories etc has an opportunity to 'reinhabit' or you might even say 'possess/attach' to newly developing life be it a recently conceived baby or even anything not human. Also another idea I had is memories could be 'stored' in say water ,(we are mostly water after all) and then whatever absorbs, drinks that water kinda receives a 'download' of the previous creatures memories/life. Whacky ideas I know but just putting them out there. Another idea is what if life is just a 'stylus' on the record of life and we are just 'instances' on a certain 'song/track' but the 'album' already exists in full but we are not aware.

If reincarnation is a real event then it seems like karmic reincarnation is more of a punishment mechanism rather than one of growth. I mean, if you were a bad person and did horrible things to others in a previous life and don’t remember that fact when you are reborn in another life then what is the point? You have learned nothing that you bring with you into the new life. You never realize that you should not hurt others, you are just born again into this hell of a world and start all over as a kind of blank slate. Some cultures even say that you are born into a painfully horrible life if you were evil in your last life as a karmic repayment. But what is the point? You don’t remember the evil you did so how can you learn and grow from it? Ultimately, this kind of reincarnation seems more like the Christian biblical hell than anything else. You are just born, suffer, die, are reborn, suffer, die, are reborn, suffer, die ad infinitum. Now, if you CHOOSE to come down into this physical world and experience certain things that you take back with you to your greater soul (or higher being or whatever you want to call it) when you die, that makes far more sense to me. Then you WOULD want to forget your previous lives and come down without any biases or knowledge of existence and how it all works as it would influence your choices and actions. If you chose how your life would kind of play out and the things you want to experience - then you need to do it from a blank state in order to get the full experience. Plus, YOU made the free will choice to incarnate again in this world. No one or no thing forced you to. You would either do it, or not based on YOUR choice and YOUR decisions. You create your own hell down here of your own volition and then experience it and then take the knowledge back with you to your “real state” or “higher self” after you die. THIS system makes sense to me and would be more acceptable. I don’t know which or what is true. However, if the first one is truth and you just die and are immediately reborn again and forget your previous lives then THAT is THE definition of ETERNAL TORMENT. If that is the system that exists then I hope humanity wipes itself out as a species entirely to end it. Otherwise, I hope someone shows me the door into non-existence the next time I die please.

I'm not yet convinced that everyone reincarnates. Perhaps some do. And even then, those with such memories cannot prove that it was them and not a cross contamination of memories. This is perhaps either random or meant to obtain closure for the persons concerned both dead and still alive on earth.

NO! Jesus was resurrected not reincarnated.
@E-Kat3 жыл бұрын
That’s the same thing really, only Jesus remembered very well who he was, he just looked different. Many people who were reincarnated resemble the person from their previous life and they remember that person’s life.

Personally, I'd prefer subtitles. So you can hear the natural tone and emotion in the speaker's voice, instead of fake and robotic-sounding dubbing.

When people have a near death experience they often speak of reuniting with their loved ones in heaven. Why haven’t these people reincarnated?
@nathanwhite7043 жыл бұрын
They may have reincarnated, our spirits are immortal and multidimensional. Our higher-selves can take the form of anyone and is conscious of all of its incarnations. They saw the incarnation of that spirit they were familiar with.

@@nathanwhite704 or, ndes are just dreamlike imaginative blips in the brain. Not saying that's what I think, but it's a plausible and simple answer that should be considered when dealing with a question such as this.

@@0ptimal I can’t believe that’s all that they are I’ve had way to many spiritual encounters to believe that. ( Ive met historical people such as Tokugawa Ieyasu and modern people like Robin Williams. I met my twin daughters before I met their mom and they gave me personal details about her, some was very tmi, I’ve healed the sick I’ve astral projected to various places in the earth and in space ) Ndes being nothing but blips doesn’t line up with the science behind it either. There’s been universities that have studied these things for 50+ years here in America and based on their research consciousness is separate from the brain and yet tied to it. (There’s a series on Netflix called surviving death they go into all that and more) Quantum physics takes it further in quantum physics everything is energy, light and sound and all are one. This physical realm is the matrix it isn’t true reality. That’s ultimately the message of every religion .

It is rare that people reincarnate quickly. Chances are no one reincarnates during the lifetime if their children or grandchildren unless there is some purpose.

Yes, time is an illusion. It may be more accurate to say "alternate lives" and timelines. All of our lives are happening simultaneously. We just have our conscious awareness in "this one".

I'm 6.5 minutes in and everything, literally _everything_ about this lady _screams_ 'con-artist.' From the constant smirk of 'duper's delight' that never leaves her face, to the constant looking up to read the facial expressions of her audience to assess whether or not she's being believed, to her own descriptions of the connection, which is all post-diction, rather than prediction - meaning she finds something out, and _then_ claims to have remembered it from her past life, rather than the other way around. Then there's the description of cold reading. She 'exchanges memories' with the old man, and then gradually repeats his memories back to him after he forgot telling her, thus astonishing him. The fact that it's old people, _and_ that they have a traumatic life of missing mommy because daddy was an alcoholic. And in she comes, saying, 'Hi kids; I'm back. Heeeere's mommy!' Thus, the selection of vulnerable victims. But I'm curious. Are you guys NOT getting con-artist vibes from this lady? I don't even want to finish watching, but somebody just tell me: does she end up getting any money from them? Even if she didn't, that doesn't mean it's not a con. These types like the thrill of the game. But if she did get their inheritance, case closed, folks. Come on. This is _exactly_ how it works, to a T. Like, there's no detail missing from the con template here. It's a _perfect_ match. In fact, it's almost too many of the con components.
