He next emitted a loud and proud meow, declaring his splendid-beauty presence to the world. Last night, we found out that he was the one who snuck into the royal kitchen and feasted on the best caviar, salmon and cheese, which were meant for the ambassador. And we knew, he also knocked over some vases and statues, just for fun. But after all, he is more than just the queen’s beloved companion; he is a prince, a noble, gorgeous and intelligent prince.

@@katula14 Basically, an aging king worries about losing his authority to his three sons, so in order to keep them busy, he gives them impossible tasks such as finding the world's tiniest dog and finding the finest muslin. The story then follows the third son, who searches around in a forest and discovers a hidden castle inhabited by cats, with a white cat who rules the castle as queen. The white cat helps him win each task, and when the king challenges his sons to each find the most beautiful princess for a wife, the third son again goes to the white cat, who promises she will give him a beautiful princess if he can cut off her head. The cat ends up being the promised princess, who was cursed along with her subjects by fairies when she attempted to escape an arranged marriage. It's an odd but very fun tale. There's the longer original version from d'Aulnoy and there's a shorter version that was included in The Blue Fairy Book. You can find them both for free on Wikisource if you're interested!

Two months ago i travelled trough Moscow by a tram in the evening. It was snowing really hard. The streets were lit with the yellowish streetlights. My destination was a very cozy bookstore in the very centre of the city. I didnt know what to listen to, so i started searching for some ambient music on KZbin. And i found this masterpiece. 0:01 - y entonces me mire al espejo y admire con total sopresa mi actual apariencia, ¿que habia pasado? ¿donde estaba? ¿porque era un gato? o... ¿siempre lo fue?. no recordaba nada. 2:32 - Con cautela camine por todas aquellas grandes habitaciones que me rodeaban, dando ligeros saltos al enredarme con mi propia cola. Nisiquiera eso podia hacer bien. Entre tropicones logre llegar una gran ventana que daba a un hermoso patio, lleno de flores rojas y azules dandole una apariencia tanto dulce como agradable a la vista de cualquiera. un segundo.... ¿esas son torres?... ¿estoy en un castillo?? 5:35 Aun confundida por mi situacion me vi obligada a salir de mis pensamientos al oir una extraña risa a lo lejos que se colo por mis orejas. ¿ quien era aquel que se reia? Di media vuelta y salte por la ventana, bajando entre los salientes del propio castillo asta llegar a un toldo, donde confiando en mis cuatro patas. Salte, al hacerlo rebote y cai sobre el cesped en una postura digna de un alto puntaje. Limpie mis bigotes y prosegui en mi busqueda, aquella risa se le hacia familiar. Pero, no recordaba muy bien... quien era, o porque lo conocia. 8:18 paso tras paso diferentes ruidos y olores fueron llegando tanto a su nariz como a sus suaves orejas, llegando seducirla por diferentes caminos, perdiendo su objetivo principal. pastel, pan, pasta, carne, pollo.... todos los olores chocaban contra sus finos bigotes exparciendose por sus papilas gustativas asta su estomago. tenia hambre. casi babeando se detuvo al lado de una mesa con toldo que daba la apariencia de un negocio. 11:19 -Hola lindo felino! ¿que buscas por estos- ¡oh! haha... el felino se deslizo entre las piernas del hombre, ronroneando en señal de que queria algo. Efectivamente, tal obra de manipulacion solo podia ser llevada acabo por un gato. - supongo que no queda de otra... sonriendo, el hombre dejo que el gato comiera un pedazo de pan, agregandole a un lado un pequeño cuenco con agua. el gato, ahora esta feliz y se notaba en el ligero movimiento de su cola. Espera un momento! Aquello no lo hizo de forma consiente, ¿que le estaba pasando??! 14:43 Ya con la pansa llena, siguio con su camino. Aunque habia olvidado su objetivo principal ¿cual habia sido? aquello solo le hacia doler la cabeza, habian mas preguntas que respuestas. y estas estaban fuera de su entendimiento. 16:21 ¡donde estas mi vida! se escucho desde el interior de una enfermeria donde, un hombre yacia buscando a su mujer, sin embargo... no la encontraba por ningun lado. tal parecia todos los presentes lo abrazaban y consolaban, su mujer habia escapado tras un accidente y habia decididio buscarla por todo el reino... sin embargo, no la encontro. su hija, habia fallecido. sin embargo, su cuerpo no habia sido encontrado. 18:19 -Romue! calmate! si sigues actuando asi no seras digno de llevar el reino! - ¿que me calme?! dime como te sentirias si tu esposa he hija desaparecieran!!? he!!! no pasaron ni dos segundos antes de que ambos hombres comnezaran a pelear, llegando a herirse uno al otro. valla que los humanos eran tan... raros. 20:45 Ignorando aquella extraña pelea, el gato siguio explorando aquel hermoso reino. Ronroneando al sentir el suave cesped sobre sus mullidas patas, saltando entre las zarsas y hojas del palacio llenandose de tierra y a su vez, de flores violeta. ahora su pelelaje blanco se notaba un tanto rosa por el tinte natural de aquellas flores de dulce aroma. uhmm ahora que lo pensaba, ese aroma le encantaba! casi parecia recordarlo como... algo familiar, algo unico. Algo especial, uhmmm ¿meow?. ¿meow? ¿MEOW?!!!, mi cabeza... da vueltas. uhg... 29:25 Me duele, todo.... ayuda, mami.... ayuda! donde... dende esta... ¿mami?, nono! con terror trato de deslizarse por debajo del carruaje, quejandose al sentir como un trozo de madera habia atravesado uno de sus pequeños brazos. Mientras que a su lado izquierdo su pierna se encontraba practicamente destrozada. -¡ayuda! por favor.... Dolfi... con lagrimas en sus cristalinos ojos celeste observo con dolor como su gato yacia muerto a pocos metros del carruaje, su cuerpo habia impactado contra una roca. ¡SOCORR....!- ¡SOCORRO-OO! ayu...d con sus pocas fuerzas siguio pidiendo ayuda asta que su voz se apago. 32:52 ¡AHHHH!!! totalmente acelerada se desperto, ¿que habia pasado? con recelo miro a su alrededor, notando que aun estaba en el gardien rondeada de aquellas flores violetas. ¿se habia quedado dormida?....
