I mean, seriously? I don't know how I stumbled on these but how you managed to take the elements that make each of these movies recognizable while turning them into recognizably old movies is simply breathtaking. I'm actually old enough to remember how the older movies looked at the time and you have nailed so many elements perfectly. Never subscribed to a channel so fast after just a few videos. Well done and thanks for posting.

If I were ever to direct a dream sequence I'd subtly change the entire set from shot to shot based on what generated in that moment; have everything _roughly_ coherent but jittery enough where you can just accept that the living room is on the roof now.

It came to my mind the choice of Cary Grant as the movie was a thriller just like the North by North West. My only complaint is that the trailer should have featured a surrealism influence on the film or mysterious as some foreign films thrillers.

I love how they announce Inception like if it was an Alfred Hitchcock and presentes by Trasatlantic Pictures (the film company that produced Rope), Nolan is clearly influenced by Hitchcock in some level, they're two of my favorite directors, both being british, the most succesful of their eras, commercially and critically succesful. Only thing is that Alfred never got the title of Sir in life, but I'm glad Chris Nolan did, and Dame Emma Thomas.

The music doesn't work. You need to get UDIO or something to come up with something that sounds like Bernard Hermann, romantic with some atonal elements, minor major 7th chords with exensions along with augmented chords. The use of some hoaky 1950s swing music, messes up the vibe big time, (for me at least). Other than that, an interesting concept. Check out some of Hermann's music and remix it with something along those lines.
