Xacria Nasar I think the reason that it hits hard is because Leo comes to the realisation that as much as he wants to spend an eternity with her, he knows that she’s dead and that he must move on. He learns to appreciate the time he spent with her in limbo and accepts that he must let go of her.

I know that this film is not the easiest to edit, but you did an exceptional job! The first part was great. And the end, how to say, the end was just perfect. How more original can you be ? The first with that classical / epic music was absolutely phenomenal. You are an architect of video editing, I feel like you totally controlled the layers of inception. Looks even better than a trailer. That second part is one of the best emotional part that you've made. Your quotes blend so well with the music. The result of an All-Star Cast, combined with intricate plot lines, and a breathtaking Hans Zimmer score... all pulled together with a deeply emotional relationship within which Cobb is desperate to be forgiven for the death of his wife (an event which he relentlessly blames himself for). One of Christopher Nolan’s finest works.

I first watched this film when I was 11 and I was in a weird trance for like a week. I'm so obsessed with Nolan's work but Inception is just mind blowing. I have the vinyl OST, the screenplay, and of course, the Blu-Ray. That's how much I adore this movie. This edit though - oh my god. Incredible. I love the shifts in tone and how the music you used wasn't Zimmer's original soundtrack (which slaps obv). It makes this movie feel so much more emotional in the midst of all those incoming trains and kicks.
