Incident Response Vehicle

Post disaster, communication systems can fail. Emergency first responders need those systems to work. MERS, Mobile Emergency Response Support, has Incident Response Vehicles that bring telecommunication systems to the affected area. Once the satellite goes up, it enables computer, data and phone communications.
The truck is self sufficient. It takes two operators. If they have to, they will run twelve hours shifts - twelve on, twelve off. Each person works either day or night.
Often, MERS vehicles are the first on the scene.
