Hi Nick , best information videos on here so thanks for that...I had a 5 pounds jackpout cluedo fruit machine brought to me yesterday, i was paying for it, but while they were bringint it in to me it had a little knock, so when we finally got it in firstly we noticed the reels had slightly moved to the left, and also it was in demo mode and the bottom door was already off. Now in demo mode all seemed to still work, but when he tried to put the bottom door back on an alarm would go off that sounded like a gun being fired and a error code would come on the screen saying 'PAY UNIT ERR 17' ... but then taking the bottom door back off the code and alarm would stop?.............now he only had the key for the bottom, and i asked if he had the other keys as i noticed there was a barrel type key slot and next to it was a normal key slot so i dont know if im able to get those anywhere?....he didnt charge me for the machine after this but id love to get it running as i want to use it as a money box and a bit of fun for the family, can you help at all or advise please? we would be very greatful.

Hi mate, I found a beautiful mid 80's 5 reel Jubilee slot machine at the dump the other day that seems to have similar symptoms. Although my machine says "RAM CORRUPT". I have no idea about these machines but do try and repair these things I find on my channel. Do you think replacing the battery would be a good place to start? Hi I know this is an old comment but I’m going through the same thing with the serial coin mech error. I also have a MPU failed to initialise error now as it was working fine in demo mode with the coin mech error and now I can’t even access the settings menu with door open. Did you get yours working again? If so id really appreciate any advice I can get, thanks

It depends on the machine, however if you know how to get it into test mode, then there is an option in there called ‘Lamps’ and that option will flash the lamps and you can see each one.

Hello mate I have a Red Gaming Terminator Fruit machine and it keeps saying “ATTENTION CALL MANAGER” I’ve opened up the top of the machine and there seems to be a little computer Ecu that says “MPU6”, there is a little screen flashing green with different words coming up such as “MPU BATTERY” then “RTC RESET” then “ALARM 42-2C” It’s been like this for about 3 years now and I’m only starting now to get it fixed again but I have no clue. Any input or help would be much appreciated, even if I could message you privately thanks. Alex

Have an error on Barcrest Starwars. Says Alarm 85-83 OPT BLOCK 1 L1 HOPPER TAMPER. Any help greatly received. Initially when I first tuned it on it came up with STRIM and counted down from 25 while screaming what sounded like 'Get me out' and then when it came on it worked fine. I then left it on for a bit and then the Alarm error came up. Cleaned hopper, cleaned coin mechanism and it plays fine except when you go to empty the pound coin hopper it whirs away and sends out the coins but then comes up with the Alarm 85-83 error again.

Hello. Thanks for the comment. Have you cleaned the bit where the pound leaves the hopper.. you should get a cloth or something and stick it in the slot where the pounds exit and vigorously push back and forth to try and clean the sensors. If that fails, it could be your hopper sensors have finally died. Also just a bit of useless info for you.. the thing its saying is Hey, Check it out! Thanks for watching. Hope this helps.

@@InsidetheArcade Cheers that sorted the error with the hopper but it still does the shouting and the countdown when you first switch it on. Says "Strim" and counts down from 25, stops shouting around 15 and then works fine. Whats been fixed is the pound coin hopper. Before I cleaned that clear lens part you mentioned, the machine would scream and not stop randomly, also when coin dumping. Wish I had never replaced the bulbs but had to as the 'Trail Held' and half the arrows on center board were out... Great machine when working, still have a giggle at some of the sound effects and character voices.

Excellent glad that helped.. should be closer to solving this now. Hmm. The strip alarm is usually an alarm that is caused by the machine thinking its being manipulated via coin mech normally. Or poss hopper. So if you know how to perform a ram clear.. I'd try that. If not depending on what stat wars it is.. (mpu5 or mpu6... you could short the ram battery to perform a ram clear. Failing that.. clean your coin mech, then: open the doors, unplug the audio and shut doors again.. let it boot and perform the strim, open doors and close them again ( don't power off as it'll produce an on off alarm).. but hopefully riding out the strip alarm a few times might also clear it.. never been in a position to fix a constant strip alarm, as they usually clear themselves up after a while.

@@InsidetheArcade Left the machine on most of this afternoon, just finished playing through 20 pound coins and it worked flawlessly, thank you very much. Turned it off and then back on again 5 mins later and it no alarms, just straight into theme tune.

Apologies for delay in answering. H ENAB is a hopper error. Either a dodgy hopper, dirty hopper sensors or it's come 'unpaired' let me know if you still need any assistance.
