Right now I've been suffering with my mental health at it's worst. I've neglected most aspects of my life resulting to my life falling into a utter mess. Even though, it feels like I'm to darn deep to get out of it. I've also suffered with so much self hate because of this, and it really feels like I can't cope. But I really don't want to live like this I want to get better and have control over my life. Luckily this video popped up and really had inspired me to try to make an improvement. Thank you.

Before you watch: This video is amazing and gives great starting points for everyone who wants to change their lives. He says it in the video at the end but I recommend during or after the video take action immediately. Meaning write something down, make a note, start your journal, something that you can do that will mark the beginning of your journey NOW. For me when watching any informational content while I may appreciate it, my brain is conditioned to do nothing more than accept the content rather than implement it and save it for later. As soon as you find something that you want to apply to your life you should take it off the screen and make it a permanent part of your reality so it does not get drowned out by everything else clogging your brains. Great video.

Hi, everything you said is 100% correct. The good news is once you get your life in order it will be easier to maintain the good habits. In fact you will want to do them because and be disinterested you will create a positive feedback loop with the people you spend time with. Only be aware that you are not invincible. Almost everyone I've met whom were addicted to social media or video games and procrastination had suffered from bad company - whether dysfunctional family or relationship neglect. I'd like to make a correction of some sort, if you want to call it that way. Watching self-help videos and reading self-help books (as I presume, by "nonfiction") is not the best idea, when overly done. It is the ilusion of progress. It makes you think that you are moving forward, yet you stand as you stood. I think it would be better to put self-help content in general on the sidelines and focus on one of 2 other things that are beneficial to metal well-being (sort of a mental cure for bad mood and nihilism). Mainly religion and philosphy. Also reading fiction is good, if not better than non fiction. it gives you kind of a palette of blueprints on how can you deal with problems.

And add a physical activity it could be playing outside, running, gym or even just walking because when our body doesn't move it gives a sense of laziness so get it moving

Since I already started meditating and consuming more positive content relatively and consuming less content over all, those last few steps can't be much harder. I'll promise not only to start the gratitude journaling and exercising, but to keep that up until the day I die.

Muslims have a meditation daily; which is called Salat. Minimum exercise is- going to pray everyday. And a very definite purpose in life- To please Allah by doing good things and abstaining from bad. Indeed, its a very scientific religion🌟

I am 33, and no matter what I do, my negative mental environment always brings me back. It also affects my physical health. So, I am trying to unlearn and relax and take things one step at a time. I know it will work

Thank you so much for this video. For the past few days I've been telling myself that eventually I will start grinding but now I realise nothing will change if I don't act. I truly hope that I can come back to this comment, knowing that I've achieved everything I've wanted to. Thank you.
