There are regions and organizations where especially Swedish is the key language. Åland is a part of Finland and has Swedish as the official language. The language situation is not so homogeneously dominated by Finnish. But of course on average Finnish is the main language in Finland even though Swedish has legally equal standing as the other official language of Finland.

In many fields studies enable the student to work after a year or two of studies into more professional roles than just working part-time as unskilled worker. The skills, qualifications and income aren't still at the levels of the qualified and experienced employees. Of course it all also depends on the individuals own personal qualities and circumstances. Not all are equally good in building personal professional networks and being active in building their careers while studying. Some might be focusing on making maximum on odd-jobs etc. and don't fully understand to focus on longer term goals in life and professionally. Different fields can also have different culture to enable different approach. In some fields career development is more structured with more formal qualifications.
