Inconsiderate parking outside of two Blaydon schools

🎥 Find out what happened when Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service and Gateshead Council joined forces to highlight the dangers of inconsiderate parking during the school run.
This video, taken last week - shows a TWFRS appliance responding to a ‘mock incident’ whilst travelling down busy roads situated outside of two Blaydon-based schools, St. Thomas More Catholic School and St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in the Gateshead area.
The prevention and education exercise is aimed at helping to keep our roads safe especially for our children. Why not consider walking, cycling or scooting to school.
