Ummm, this is the '20s. The Black Bottom and The Charleston came out then...no, the '30s just wasn't "GTEAT DEPRESSION" and if that is ALL these folks see in these times, what a dull life they live indeed! I'd go back with ya! WAY better than today. Sure, we've got great convenience with technology but what about the great, yet basic, human connection?? No one waves to each other, no one really helps one another, very small talk...why? One reason is the world is more dangerous oh and let's not forget arrogant people quad-drupplling over the past 70 years. So, life was sweet. Through hardship, everyone came together, as a whole. One thing is, spirits were lifted with hot and syncopated tunes and emotions were understood by warm and tender crooners. Like this remix of the anthem of the 1920s, spirits were lifted in THESE dastardly times.
