Thank you so much for creating this content. I have learned so much from your videos throughout my hyperbaric journey. I wanted to ask about the antioxidant questions. How would that affect hbot?

You're welcome! To clarify, are you asking how taking antioxidants can affect HBOT? It's always a case by case basis, so this is generally speaking...because some people with certain conditions are more sensitive to the oxidation that HBOT causes (we typically WANT the oxidation that HBOT causes, because it helps our system strengthen it's natural antioxidant system), so taking some antioxidants can help them tolerate the treatments better. But when you're wanting the oxidative effect, it's better to avoid certain antioxidants during your treatment. The more I learn on Hbot USA, the more I realize I must ask questions. Question, are the pathways the same for those on a ketogenic diet and burning ketones vs glucose? Thank you

I’m not sure if I understand, but I’ll try to answer: the overall energy pathways are the same in either case, the raw materials being oxidized for energy are different. Ketones are small, highly dense dense packets of energy which burn very efficiently. Glucose is not as energy dense and certainly not as efficient of a burn. All of the processing (as long as oxygen is present) still happen inside the mitochondria and those steps will not be exact but will be similar. Does that answer the question?

It may yes. There are no studies on this topic but it makes sense that a strategy like that may enhance the effect

NAD+ IV's can get it in your blood stream rather than the oral route. Would a 1,000mg of NAD+ IV (it's heavy to get that much at one time) route to the blood have anticipated or unanticipated results?

In some case yes, absolutely. On other cases we might use it to soften the ROS effect initially to not over stress the patient.
