nice tips, but there is some you forgot 1: different seasons require you to star up 1 car, the only exception is gp, se, car hunts, starway events or DS (drive syndicates) 2) dont spend tokens on bps on the legend store, as what dbt said in the beginning, if you reach gl 7 for example, it will be for tokens, but when you reach gl 8 it will be for credits, its always better to get bps for credits than for tokens. 3) Always do the car hunts (well not the lp ones) but the ones given out for free, often times you can get a chance to get the car and unlock it for free. as for tips of "how to go fast" in a9, sure

Good points indeed. This video was focused mostly in the specific case where you (theoretical player) have too many cars, but low garage level; you want to get to Chiron, but you're are gaining very little points because you are focusing in upgrading the more expensive cars that give very few garage points (like those with value of 60). Later I'd love to make some more videos with other little tidbits of info that I've learned over time.

@@FunTimes.7 gp is grand prix, se is special event, mp is multiplayer, well i already did mention ds as drive syndicate, fps is frames per second, amd is advanced micro devices, a9 is asphalt 9. there.

I really did enjoyed this teaching newer players to learn to spend their credits in the game wisely. I was also stuck in garage level 14 for sometime however, I did managed to finish upgrading the career and daily event cars at max stage without applying factory imports. After I unlocked some of the cars that featured the spend more, get less system, I did somehow managed to get to 18 without a sweat and I did manage to gold some career, previous garages levels, and the exclusive event cars. Now, I’m close to 15 million rep meaning 18 will completed 3 times for me. I really hope Gameloft could add more levels, new exclusive event cars, and maybe try to implement a way to get key cars either in the trade token department, via the store itself, or both along with new trade token cars.

Oh for sure! There's a point where it doesn't matter what you upgrade, you end up with a ton of garage points. But for newbies (like I was at one time), it's not clear that some cars are just terrible. I focused a lot back then in cars from carhunts, and the problem was that they were expensive to upgrade and barely gave me any points. And I desperately needed better class A cars. Once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing in terms of having all the options available due to level 18

When I was on my way towards GL18 (reached that almost 3y ago) I made a sort of planning based on the costs/points (as far as I could find) and it was pretty clear that the older cars in the game gave much better GL points for credits.

I have all of my basic useless starter cars upgraded. Tho i think it might be too late for me to use these tips since i actually started a9 with no tips at all what so ever but who knows. Yeah. It's a small thing, but I for sure didn't know that upgrading a new car I just got through a carhunt is much less efficient and much more expensive than the boring old cars. Took me forever to realize that low tier cars were great to increase the garage level, even if the car itself is useless.

I reached garage lev 17 about 3 months ago, and I expected to start REGULARLY getting Vanda blueprints(for credits) in my Legend Store. That had worked for every other showcased car once I'd reached 1 level above their unlock level. Unfortunately, unlocking and starring up the Vanda has been a VERY slow process. It's bp's will disappear from my Legend Store for as long as 2 weeks! I check the store after every reset. The Aventador J bp's never disappeared from my store for longer than maybe 1-2 days! BTW, I'm getting 570 Spyder bp's for credits at least once a day. My Vanda is only 4* after over 3 months of buying its bps when they show up in my store.

Yeah. In the switch version of the game, where i applied this knowlege about leveling up quickly. I was able go buy all the bps for all the cars in the legend store, except 4: chiron and genty, because they're exceedingly rare foe credits, and from level 17, I'm still stuck at five stars in both, the vanda and the aperta. These two have taken eons

10 months later and now i am a player with level 15 garage with 65 cars to name. My first tip for new players or ones progressing is to prioritise the upgrades for the cars for the situations If you're someone who likes to grind in event like the exclusive cars event then make sure you have maxxed the required cars ,i've seemed to notice that you frequently get more blueprints when you use maxxed cars in exclusive events (i recently was able to fully golden max my rezwani beast ) you need atleast one of these cars to unlock other better exclusive cars like VLF and Egoista and finally Trion. When maxxing the cars also make sure that your car atleast has all the rare imports so that its close to its full potential. Then again like dbt said , atleast upgrade a starter class in each class ,they may have horrible stats but they can still be useful in events and some of these are required to play events. Always upgrade your favorable cars first and use them to grind in events and mp

Not sure how much the garage lvl affects the chance of having bp for credits instead of tokens. Right now I am garage lvl 15, and my shop has the Laferrari for tokens, not credits. It is a car that is from garage lvl 10.

Yeah, the LaFerrari is a very particular car that for some reason is very rare, very token based. But in general, it's true that a car that is from the previous level will show for credits much more often than before. That's not to say that it will be credits every time, but if before it was 1/10 for credits, maybe now it's 3/10 or something.

I'm on 17 and still buying La Ferrari for Tokens, to use in the Onyx Starway. La Ferrari is the most useless/rare car in the game, for my experience.

I just started playing this PC Game, and feel lost on what to do. This is game seems VERY money hungry, compared to what I cam from (Need for Speed). I personally dont need / want a ton of cars, just like 3 that I can FOCUS on. This games seems to want to push me every every time I move up. Im used to spending "credits" in whatever car I want. Am I missing something?

Nope. The game is very very P2W. Now, you can still make a lot of progress by going F2P, but you need to know what to focus on and what are the limitations. As a F2P you will NEVER get the fancy cars that are the "flagships" of updates. You will have to settle with getting the bad, mid and goodish cars that are available for F2P. But still, if you're not P2W, the grind is massive. Don't expect to have many decent cars for MP in the first 4-6 months of playing the game.

Yes, but it's not that simple. It's not about "any car = upgrade". It's about certain ones. Not all cars are equal when it comes to garage points, as some will cost a lot of credits and give very little points, while others are much cheaper and give much better points.
