Thanks, good info. I'm having 'check engine' light. Test shows the sensor 'air flow' error. I'm going to try cleaning. This is a good vid because; no back ground music and clear and concise info.

Great video, thanks man. I have a 2015 2.7 I purchased new and never had any issues until recently at 82000 miles. My gas mileage just dropped to 16.2 from 19+. Hopefully this works, thanks again 👍. Oh, already changed plugs and air filter.

Check your high pressure fuel pump. Bolted to engine under the hood. They start going bad and no lights, no codes. Only a sudden drop in fuel mileage.

@@kevinmathis1278 ..... I just bought a 2018 with the 3.5 EcoBoost last week, and the truck has 43,000 mi on it. I have a 25 mi commute to work one way at 55 mph and am not getting the mileage that I expected. They advertised around 22 miles per gallon highway and I am getting around 17. I noticed the comments do not overall indicate any improvement -- What you might want to do is change your old thermostat to improve mileage. No joke. Replace with a Stant or Gate - not a standard Ford thermostat.

I know this is an old video, but I was wondering you I need to disconnect the battery before I take the sensors out? I just took the throttle body, cleaned it and put it back on and I reconnected the battery after that. Figured I better clean the sensors but you didn’t show disconnecting the battery first for this
@TruckStuff1 Жыл бұрын
It's always best practice to disconnect the battery.

Anytime you remove the throttle body, you must disconnect the battery terminal. If you stick your finger into the throttle body w/o removing battery cable, that throttle body could potentially cut off your finger...it's energized. Be careful.

Change all the powertrain fluids, rear diff, front diff transfer case and transmission fluids. Old fluids add drag. Especially the diffs. Also, tires add drag if not properly inflated.
