Hey love your videos! I am looking to get a couple piglets and would love to purchase from your stock. Any chance we could make that happen? Thanks!

If you leave the little trees, could their roots feed the pigs over and over? What plans do you have for the cleared land?

I notice when it gets to this stage they eat very little. They do start to eat the roots but its more of a last ditch measure imo. My plans is to grow pasture after the shrubs are cleared and hog ring their noses to prevent rooting, so having fresh grass is much better than them eating tree roots.

@@Rowow I've been seeing sudan sorghum being used for cattle. Grazing 3 times before it dies. The root mass increases biomass too. I'm looking for a chicken forage. Something that either reseeds or perenial. I raised 1000s of seeds of oats from 3 seeds from the feed store. But i have too much mulch for it to reeseed itself. I have to manually collect and start oats in a few pots. But growing a field worth in pots would be a large effort.

@@TheRainHarvester I've tried growing sorghum but even in my most fertile part of the property it has a hard time. Florida is mostly desert contrary to popular belief. I'll try a mix and see which grows best

@@Rowow you might like Gabe Brown's talks/book. He built fertility in his soil via plantings which pull nutrients from deep subsoil.

@@TheRainHarvester the issue is Florida is pure sand. There is no nutrients or water. It's difficult to explain unless you actually tried to grow here. Even if there is nutrients it dries up within 2 days of no rain in the summer. Walking on grass is like walking on glass. You need to build up the carbon content in the soil first. Uploaded a short just now on a skidsteer im fixing up which is gonna help me a lot with that and other projects
