Not a bad foundation. Not a terribly good one, honestly. You challenged the balance of the athlete when you let go of the pads and that was PERFECT opportunity to check their balance. The feet should be balanced and rooted in such a way that releasing doesn't cause an unbalanced follow through and recovery motion. This is done with straight punches with simply turning the front foot inside a tiny little bit to make sure that you don't lose balance and overcorrect from a missed strike. Many from Shaolin to modern boxing teach this and it works. You won't regret trying it.

I've just watched, you should concentrate more on your jab. Throw your jab a lot more before you come in with the hooks. Work on moving in and out of range , so when of you face an opponent your use to moving in and out . Aside from that u have good speed .

@@raymondherrera2748 you as well bro , there's always a video on KZbin on anything your struggling with. I suggest subscribing to precision striking , he works wonders for people who train at home. There's even interactive classes where it's like your sparring with him while he's on the TV lol , defo worth checking out

your stance and footwork could use a bit of work,i also noticed you have nice firm chin down but when you start throwing hooks that chin goes straight up in the air which is dangerous (im also working on this-use a tennis ball below your chin 😄).I would recommend slowing down a bit and focusing on your technique rather than speed,which you do posess.Check out fighttips channel -a lot of informative videos.Hope i helped a bit buddy😀✌️

My dude, you're getting confused with fight tactic/strategy. He specifically says it's a S&C exercise in the video. To be used as a warm-up or in certain phases of your fight camp. Think plank but with a bit more sport specific so you can feel your core working rather than your shoulder.
