I would like to sell ebooks I think I'm just looking into it can you sell multiple different books on different things or do they need to about the same thing

You can certainly do different things but I would recommend Amazon KDP for ebooks (videos coming soon)

Keyword research helps a lot in targeting the right demographic that will buy your product. Glad that you mentioned long tail keywords as well, this could help a lot of folks out in getting a higher ranking in less competitive keywords. Great video!
