Excellent video Kirk! I have been working with Streamyard but EVMUX looks like OBS on steriods! Does it have a random viewer selector for giveaways like Streamyard does also?

Hey Kirk, totally loving your vids and style of training! debating between Restream and evmux. Key things I want to be able to do is have the stream go to TWO fakebook groups. 1 Public and 1 private. after 20 minutes, I want to turn OFF the public stream and focus the balance of the session ONLY for the paid members in the private group. I know I can do this in Restream, trying to find in evmux. Second thing is trying to see how the chat overlay works. any tips or suggestions?

Thanks so much for the comment and support of the channel! Both Restream and EVMUX can accomplish your stream scenario (start with both groups and end one mid-show and continue with the other). As far as chat overlay both also work for that... Restream has a built-in one-click option that places the chat on screen where EVMUX you would have to add a screenshare overlay to a pro scene and crop it but it would work. I would caution you with showing the chat on screen unless you're sure no one will type anything ridiculous. Let me know what you decide or if you need any further insight.

I love evmux but one issue when i switch scenes the audio of my guess or mine is not coming out to the audience is there something i can do?

How did you send an invitation for speaker through email at 12:45 ?

The invitation was sent when I saved the speaker at 11:29. Once I create the speaker and hit save they are sent an invitation.

I just got Evmux and i'm trying to figure out which way would be best between the speaker added way or guest invite link? I did add someone I was going to bring on to my podcast the way you did your son through the 'add a speaker'. I was wondering though when I go into studio the speaker's camera will go into place in a pro scene like a guest would in a dynamic scene. In proscene you can edit the layout of each camera so that's why I was asking if doing it by 'add a speaker' would be best or not bc in a proscene i still had to add my camera and then reshape/place it where i want and the speaker one I'm not how it would show up since I'm just in edit mode and don't have their feed yet until the day of podcast. I'm not sure if I lost you lol I can't seem to get the Walkie Talkie button to work? I invited guests that were on stand by and couldn't hear me speak to me. I wasn't sure if I had to put a proscene on first and then try talking to the guest or what? I'm confused. I notice I can't talk over a proscene when I have an intro playing or break but I can talk in dynamic scene mode. Not sure why?

There’s a lot to respond to here. Pro scenes save the placement of your cameras (guests and host) and that is one reason to use the speaker invite but another reason is you can create the speaker profile: name, title, even logo which builds their lower third. My suggestion is to setup and invite a test speaker like I did with my son, build a pro scene, and then go live to a unlisted KZbin and have that guest join to really walk through everything. You’ll be able to rest talk back aka walkie talkie and other features that you can’t see until your live.
