For once we get a tuner who doesn't just commend his car's performance and goes over areas in need of improvement. Lovely how people think that's a bad thing and are lambasting his engineering abilities, it's the car's first time on the track guys for fucks sake. If he brings it back to the track with the exact same set up maybe you have something to shit talk about but judging from Bisi's other creations he's just gathering very important information to put back into further developing the car.
@djrichierice26388 жыл бұрын
This would be the time a massive wing on the rear and an aggressive splitter for the front would actually make sense. Increasing mechanical grip alone isn't going to cut it (just widening the tires) IMO. The car's shape alone doesn't produce much down-force and the shape is actually rather slick (Gen Coupes have a 0.27 Cd).

8 жыл бұрын
I cannot really understand why they would take it to the track with such obvious problems.. 275's and stock rear diff while pushing almost 900whp and over 1000hp at the crank is just a glaringly obvious problem. Why they would waste time bringing it to the track without correcting these things is odd, but hey, its their car. Still a beautiful car though and I would love to see it when all the kinks are worked out and they can get a straight pass down the airstrip. Love these cars for some reason.

Mike Harkins There's 275's you can get to grip, and owning a BK2, the biggest tire you can fit in the rear is a 275 without modifications I'm pretty sure. But as I was saying, Kyle's "1000hp Unicorn" Corvette from 1320 video is planned to be run on some sticky 275's. it can be done, just needs that big boy tire

8 жыл бұрын
the whole point is, if they knew of all these issues, and still brought it to the track to test it only to then reinforce these issues, then wtf was the point in the first place? Any grade school racer who knows anything about cars can tell you camber, 275's and stock rear diff are just not gonna work on 1000hp+.. Why not just wait until all the supporting mods are finished to put the power down properly to the wheels to then test it? I mean, I can't see how they could get any REAL data when the car performed so badly. The only data they got was the obvious issues that I am sure they knew ahead of time would be a problem.

Too bad the people that choose the Camaro or mustang over Genesis can only get a v6 so they’re left with weak engines that can barely make good power and need quite a bit more boost than the Genesis to make the same power, for something like a 400whp-500whp car the Genesis is a far better option over the v6s as only 7psi will get you there, unless you go v8 then the choice is clear, the Coyote 5.0 is the best choice or an LS corvettes

Should rear down force help a lot from the wheels spinning all the way til 4 fourth gear?
@3lem3ntZ9 жыл бұрын
You would need a lot of down force for that. Down force is primarily used for VERY light weight vehicles like formula 1 cars due to the air below the frame lifting it up. On a genesis with a heavy engine and over all body I don't think adding down force would help much if at all. Even with added weight to the back the insane amount of torqe hitting the wheels at each shift would still over power. You simple need more rubber touching the ground. This is why super cars are 4 wheel drive.
