I like it with or without glass. Glass does keep it dust free and keeps the colour pure.

I love this butterfly. It looks like you could use the board that comes with a basic frame. Using wall putty is genius. Mod Podge is thinner as it is used to layer. You are right about gold, everyone and everything goes good with gold,,,lol. Once again, you have outdone yourself.

3D Beautiful Butterfly encased in A Lovely Frame!!! Your Juxtaposition of the Soft Coloured Butterfly in a slightly roughfend backdrop gives A Lovely Touch to Artwork! Hi A, Luci here again. In Australia, we call it spak-filla, most hardware stores have it at around A$12.00 for 180 grams. There are cheaper sorts but harder to find. stay safe

Beautiful. Framed behind the glass is better to preserve the gold leaf and fabric from dust and debris. I like this technique. I'm going to second-hand and resale stores and buy cheap clothing that I can cut up for the background. No longer will I look at old clothing as dust rags. It will give the fabric a second life rather than destroyed as a cleaning rag. Thank you for the tutorial.
