• Wardha, Bureau. L Budhvihara Ashok Kuttarmare of Kelzar in Selu taluka saw the ancient idol. Digambar was initially predicted to be an idol of Mahavira. When the archeology department visited and inspected the place, it was clarified that the idol belonged to Rishabhava. The approximately three and a half feet tall black stone carved idol is said to be 1200 years old. There was a large crowd of citizens out of curiosity. Earlier, the idol of Tirthakar Bhagwan Chandraswami was found at this place when the well was being dug. An idol of Mahavir Swamy, about thirteen feet tall, was raised in this well. Excavations conducted by the History Research Department of Nagpur University found the remains of a Jain temple and the foundation of the temple. The pearls found on Tuesday, December 2 were said to be idols of Jain Tirthakaras. The Archaeological Department of Nagpur visited the site of the incident.
