This was a statement for Dubov because since 2021, he hasn't lost a lot of games in the World Blitz Championship but he started the day with a loss against a significantly lower rated player. The situation was also heightened because of the new knockout format. He has spoken pretty highly of Pragg before this, the reaction was more to do with how his day was going. This win literally tied him with equal points to those who qualified and Dubov had a chance of making it to the knockouts if it hadn't been for some minor tiebreaks system. I'm sure any other chess player can understand how intense and stressful the atmosphere might be.
