I don’t think enough credit is given for Usyk’s gold medal in the World Amateur Championships. World amateur gold is the most revered & respected prize in boxing. There are no multiple versions of the world amateur title like there is in professional boxing. If you win gold you are the best amateur boxer for your weight on the planet. In England we’ve had 136 professional world belt holders to date. Yet we’ve only ever produced 1 amateur world champion (‘Frankie Gavin’ Chicago 2007) in the competition’s 50 year history. Usyk resisted many lucrative offers to turn professional at that stage of his career in order to fulfil his dream to finish his amateur career with an Olympic gold. Which he did in London 2012 🥇 How lucky we are as boxing fans to have a guy of Usyk’s calibre as the heavyweight king 👑 of our sport.

Fury won 4, 5 & 6 but the rest went to Usyk with round 9 being a 10-8. I honestly think Fury will get stopped tonight. I will be shocked if he even manages to go the distance.

Why does Usyk regard Fury as his hardest fight? Why has Usyk stated Fury has the best boxing IQ and footwork he's faced in the heavyweight division? Fury is a man plagued with many problems ,a mental illness, drink and drugs abuse, unprofessional lifestyle, dark suicidal thoughts, often obesely overweight, and sporting a recently healed bad cut. Usyk had none of these problems to overcome and only just squeezed a tight win that I agreed with. Too many salty opinions when it comes to Fury, his life story committed to film would blitz Rocky

@@environm3ntalist549 Usyk worked out how to negate the Fury uppercut in the first fight. Most crucially, though, is the fact that Usyk knows how to stop Fury from clinching. THAT is a brutal detriment to Fury's fighting style & tactics.

I agree that clinching will be tricky for Fury but I don’t think that’s the decisive factor. It’s about whether Fury can be accurate with the jab. If he can he wins if he can’t then he loses.
